On Julia Quinn and Broken Contracts (or, Why I Don’t Review)

For the longest time, I had only one review up on Goodreads. It was for Julia Quinn’s 2011Just Like Heaven, a two-star review that, in no uncertain terms, shared just how disappointed I was in Quinn’s (and, to be fair, her editor’s) apparent inability to fact-check her previous novel timelines. Tamara Morgan is the Ron Swanson of Romance

I have no problem confessing that I’m terrible at promo, but one thing Ido excel at is talking—to people, at people…for people. So long as I don’t have to talk about myself.

Excerpts, Updates, and Miscellany

So.


Due to a few (happy) changes in my day-job situation, I am going to be slowing down my release schedule a titch for the rest of 2013 and the first part of 2014. I know, I know—this is exactly what people don’t want to hear, nor is it what I want to say.
