I saw your post about Columbus and what? I've lived here my whole life and have never found bubble tea! Where did you get such glorious beverages? And where is this coffee shop you speak of that had local art? The only coffee shops I go to is starbucks and
Oh dear! Isn’t it funny how sometimes a tourist sees more than the local? Travonna Coffee House (where my poetry show was) had great local art in the walls in rotation. Impero Coffee had some too. I also got some incredible vintage pieces at Flower Child. The bubble tea came from a place with tea in the title (tea lounge?) right across from Flower Child! Good luck exploring your hometown with new eyes!

REASONS I LOVE COLUMBUS, OHIO
Today was the Columbus Arts Festival on the Riverfront.
I bought local art off the walls in a coffee shop because I needed to have it in my first-ever Brooklyn apartment. They are portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Maya Angelou.
Flower Child Thrift Store. Today I found two amazing pairs of vintage clip-on earrings and some more art for back home.
The bubble tea.
People here are really awesome too, but that’s another post.
The poetry shows and workshops have been gloriously attended and resplendent all week.
One more house show tonight before I head back to that big city. Come get your feelings on, Ohio!
