JD is an author of historical fantasy fiction. His stories blend ancient mythologies with alternative histories set in lesser-known eras.
He began his writing career in the second grade with short stories about a giant red dog that lazed around and got into mischief due to his immense size. The popular television show put an end to that particular dream, for a time at least.

Later ventures into writing took shape as a psychology student at the Virginia Military Institute where he collaborated on research for academic publications.

After a brief, yet eventful stint in the United States Navy, Jeffrey returned to Los Angeles to study screenwriting and film directing.
