Rune Wright Does It Again

Penny Dread Tales Volume Two truly is a phantasmagorical calliope of clockwork and steam, one that will spirit you away to the four corners of the globe . Steampunk is not just British and it's not just American, although you may have heard different. Steampunk is everywhere and forever. This anthology celebrates the notion that steampunk also has a home in places like China, Budapest, Panama and beyond. In this collection of short steampunk stories, a prince will face the curse of his ancestors, airship privateers will face down a murderer in the rugged Outback of Australia, the cities of Buda and Pest will face annihilation, and a lone, clockwork cowboy will face down the meanest werewolf in the west. So sit back, relax and step into the Victorian age that never happened, even in your wildest dreams!

Get your hands on this book right away, it will make you rich. (Intellectually)

Free Fiction - FOR FREE!

That's right, something for nothing. Stories in the Ether, an ongoing project of Nevermet Press, posts a new story every Friday, and you can read it free on their website. And not just schlock stories either, I'm talking shorts from literary giants- people such as Sevan Taylor for instance.
This week, Cruise of the Lightship Venture has been posted, and available to peruse for the cost of a few mouse clicks.
What are you still doing here? I don't give anything away free, you've gotta click on the picture to get the free stuff.

The Barfs are coming....

The Barfarian Lightship Venture has broken down. Seems the lightdrive has gone severely out of focus, and they've fallen off beam. Worse yet, the only viable place to set down and make repairs is a tiny blue backwater inhabited by a bunch of squishy little critters who have never even heard of a darktorch.
Able Crewman Third Class Freen and his best bud Brill are going to make the best of it, though.
Will the repairs get made in time?
Will the meeting of two disparate cultures enrich both, or destroy them?
Do gronats defecate in the vegitated areas?
What's with the pulled pork sandwiches?
On September 30th, when Nevermet Press posts Cruise of the Lightship Venture on the Stories in the Ether site, all these questions and more will finally be answered.

I'm Gonna Need a Couple of Million...

Home Sweet Home... I'd kick off my boots here. This loft is for sale in Chelsea, all decked out in awesomeness.

It's only $1.75 million, but I think I'll need the extra $250k because I'm pretty sure my wife won't live in Chelsea, and she definitely won't live in a place that looks like this.

Cover Art!

Is there anything better than seeing the coverart for a book that will contain your story?
Yes-
Knowing that the cover art was based on the words you wrote, as is the case with this spactacular representation of a scene from Breakdown, soon to be published by Hydra Publications in the Steam Works anthology.
Look for it with this picture on the cover.
