The reasons for three punishments
Many, even in the Church itself, have forgotten these or they will say that God no longer punishes in such a manner. But if you know Scripture, you will find that God the Father has always punished lust and sins of the flesh with plagues when people remain unrepentant; He punishes gluttony and sins of greed with famine, and He punishes sins of pride with war and bloodshed. Man may change, but the Father never changes because He Is Who He Is.
