It's ready and waiting for you!
Hey, today is Black Friday. The perfect day to stay away from the all the chaos at the stores. And what would make a great present for that lovely lady (or Mom or Aunt or Sister) in your life? The print edition of THE EDGE AND I, which is now available! You can buy it from:Tonya's E Store
Amazon
Or order it from any bookstore (chain or independent).
I'm hoping that now that the book is in print that I'll finally get some reviews. (Hint, hint.)
If you have an e reader and would like a free copy to review, email me and I'll send you a coupon code for a free download from Smashwords. Write me at tonyathomasauthor @ gmail.com (don't forget to close up the spaces in that email address).

Pay day!
Today I opened my email program and there was an announcement from Smashwords. I'd been paid $16.34 for my writing.Okay, Smashwords isn't my biggest moneymaker. Heck, half of my stories haven't been distributed to other retailers (like Kobo, Diesel, Sony and Apple ... hmm ... should write to them and ask why).
But there's something magical about payday -- even if it is only $16.34 cents.
I'm going to go out and treat myself to something.
Any ideas?

Looking For Review Sites
The good news: I'm going to do a print edition of The Edge and I.The bad news: I don't have any reviews to put on the back cover.
I'm looking for review sites that will review the anthology. Anybody got any ideas on where I could send the e version?
You can leave a comment or write to me at tonyathomasauthor @ gmail.com (don't forget to close up the spaces).
Thank you!

I'll drink to that!
Every Saturday my friends and I go junking (although sometimes I think I go more for the coffee, doughnuts, and camaraderie). One of my friends looks for antiques. The other is apt to buy produce--and this week she hit the jackpot--while I hardly ever find anything that isn't a book or a magazine. Hey, that's what I like.
This week, though, I hit the jackpot. Aren't they gorgeous?
Look at that detail.
I'm saving them to use for when the print edition of The Edge and I comes out in a couple of weeks.
Whoo-hoo!

Autograph your Kindle stories?
Yes, it's now possible for authors to send autographs to their faithful readers. (And I have at least 10 or 12 of them it seems!)
How does this happen when the books are electronic?
Basically, they send you a PDF file with a picture of the book cover and the author's pseudo signature. The great thing is that the author can personalize the autograph. And -- they're FREE! You attach the file to the book in your Kindle, Nook, whatever -- and it's there whenever you want to look at it.
Pretty snazzy, eh?
Where do you go to sign-up? http://www.Kindlegraphc.com
You can request autographs from the more than 1200 authors who've registered. (I'm just one of them.)
What could be easier?

And another new release . . . Mom Can't Live Alone Anymore
I've been very busy lately . . . writing my heart out. This latest is timely, with so many women in the sandwich generation--taking care of their kids AND their elderly parents. I hope it'll strike a chord with lots of readers who are going through--or have gone through--the same situation. Here's a brief description:
Kathy Wilson was a loving daughter and wanted to do the right thing when it became apparent that her mother wasn't able to take care of herself any more. But getting her mom into assisted living became a nightmare--and that was just the beginning of her troubles.
I hope you'll give this story a try.
You can find it on: Kindle -- Nook -- Smashwords
(Later it will be available on Sony eReader, Kobo, and Diesel.)
P.S. There's already a five star review on Smashwords. It says:
This is an excellent read, poignant and demonstrates a reality that we all may need to face at some point in our lives. Tonya Thomas delivers a true to life event. It sent me back in time to when my sister and I tried to convince our parents (into their 80's) to go into an assisted living facility. Instead they opted to stay in their home, which turned out to be a nightmare for all concerned. Eventually they both needed full time nursing home care and passed on within two months of each other's deaths. This is a definite read for anyone having to deal with this type of situation re their elderly parents. Scary thing is I'm not there yet, but it won't be that long when I am.

Married ... With Stepchildren
I've teased a few times on Facebook that I was writing a new story . . . and now it's live. Well, at least on Kindle and Smashwords. B&N's Nook is taking its time, but I sent them a note to nudge them along and hopefully it'll be available later today or tomorrow.
Here's the blurb: When Elise married the man of her dreams, she thought her life would be perfect. She hadn't reckoned with her husband's three spoiled daughters and an ex-wife who continued to drain him dry--emotionally and financially.
You can get it for: Kindle Nook Smashwords (all eReader formats)
Do you like the cover?
