Again. I’m looking for a comic I can’t find. It’s about a little guy and his energy pot. Distributing that energy between friends, family, work and themselves. And during their life the pot gets cracked or other things can not be filled. But in the end their friends are helping them out when there is no energy left.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about? ^^

I’m just gonna keep making things to put in this window and no one can stop me. Five separate children came in to learn about comics today. One was named Pickle.

“And then [Vimes] realized why he was thinking like this. It was because he wanted there to be conspirators. It was much better to imagine men in some smoky room somewhere, made mad and cynical by privilege and power, plotting over the brandy. You had to cling to this sort of image, because if you didn’t then you might have to face the fact that bad things happened because ordinary people, the kind who brushed the dog and told their children bedtime stories, were capable of then going o...

ROBOT APOCALYPSE 2030

myjetpack:

Panel 1 A presenter at a desk holds up a book and says "Now on Bookchat, we are delighted to welcome the co-authors of runaway bestseller ROBOT APOCALYPSE 2030" Panel 2 The presenter turns to a man and a robot who sit on a sofa next to the desk and says "Litbot-500, how did it feel to collaborate with a Nobel prizewinner?" The robot replies "I HAVE ADMIRED JOHN'S WRITING SINCE MY INCEPTION. SO IT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE TO WRITE NON-FICTION TOGETHER." Panel 3 The human writer corrects the robot "You mean fiction" The robot's eyes have turned from green to yellow "HAHA, YES. SILLY ME." Panel 4 It continues, now turning towards the reader, it's eyes narrowing and turning orange "THE BOOK IS FICTIONAL." Panel 5 The robot now stares directly at the reader with its cold red eyes "ENTIRELY FICTIONAL."ALT

Too soon!

My favorite Batman character is Joe Chill.

He’s just a mellow guy. He listens to smooth jazz and smokes clove cigarettes and sits in a comfy armchair.

Too soon!

Mr. Gaiman, what’s the best thing being famous?

I don't think there is one. It's pretty awful. I'd trade it for being unknown any day.

sizzlingsandwichperfection-blog:

No matter how many famous people talk about how being famous sucks, our social order still worships at the altar of fame and still sees fame as this Thing To Be Sought At All Costs.

Like, even billionaires--who could live happily on their anonymous yachts--seek public attention, and are willing to spend lavishly to experience fame (think of the Starbucks CEO, whose name I hilario...

Never forget how recent some of our victories are. And how many more fights still lay ahead.

For our Trans siblings, our disabled siblings, our POC siblings, we fight on.
