Are organic dairy products ‘humane’? And Lada’s tips on going vegan

Lada’s answer:
They are likely better, but unfortunately still commercial, and therefore, the same applies: animals are artificially impregnated and babies are sacrificed so humans can have their milk. Organic doesn’t guarantee – and doesn’t really imply – ‘humane’ or ‘fair’ to animals.
I’ve tried our local organic, ‘humane’ yogurt and eggs for a while, which are sold at our local organic health food coop. I trust the people and the store very much. It’s one of the best health food markets I’ve ever seen, and I’ve shopped everywhere.
I’m not an egg person at all, but I did want some yogurt in my diet. But recently I stopped doing that as well. Alas, there is no other way of getting a cow’s or goat’s milk, other than depriving the babies of it. Or mama-animals have to be pumped with drugs so they overproduce milk. And we then drink or eat all that! So, our own health and well-being are also a question. Plus, the fact that babies, especially baby boys, are sold for highly priced meat is too well-known.
There are good vegan milk alternatives: almond, soy, coconut, cashew. As an example, in the US they are sold in stores like Wegmans, Whole Foods, and local health food stores.
You can also make your own vegan milk, yogurt and even vegan cheese. Home made vegan cheese is actually ‘a thing.’

Deliberate cruelty, greed, gluttony and robbing others to enrich themselves: humans do this to each other, and to poor, innocent animals of Planet Earth.

THE CRUEL PRICE OF MILK: cows and goats are artificially impregnated. Newly born baby animals are taken away from their mothers at birth, without allowing them to experience their mother’s love, so that humans could milk cows and goats for milk, yogurt, cheese and butter. Then helpless, hungry and terrified baby animals are sold for meat!

I did predict this already in October 2016 in EARTH SHIFT REPORT 16: US ELECTIONS & WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER and Addendum.
I am posting this only because there is presently a renewed avalanche of sensationalist ‘predictions’ suggesting that Trump will be assassinated during inauguration tomorrow, On January 20, 2017. There are also some secretly die-hard Hillary and Obama worshipers and not-so-secret neo-liberals, who wish and pray this happens to the US president-elect.

Donald Trump WILL NOT be assassinated on January 20, 2017. He will take office and become officially the President of the United States.
Moreover, his presidency will mark a tangible SHIFT in America and worldwide.

The story of sweet dog Dasha, protectress of Donetsk
This is a new video released Jan. 11, 2017 by News Front, with my Eng. translation.
Dasha the dog’s story told by a female member of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s self-defence regiment:
She survived all the bombings with us. The boys from our recognizance team rescued her during a bombing somewhere near Nikishino village. She was so starved and emaciated that she couldn’t stand on her feet. Our medics got her back on her feet. (At that moment Dasha extends her paw to her friend, as a thank you). “She knows we rescued her.” She was very scared at first. I printed several ads in the Donetsk paper, hoping to find her owner. No one replied.
Dasha isn’t young any more, missing some front teeth. She is a very kind dog.

January 13-14: Russians celebrate the nostalgic traditional Old New Year
Thought you all might like this post! According to the 100-year-old Russian tradition: Happy Old New Year, and wishing everyone much prosperity and abundance in the Year 2017!
The nostalgic and fun holiday, called The Old New Year, is celebrated on January 13-14 in all of the Russian World.
The traditions for this cool holiday include a very generous table, brimming with traditional Russian foods, such as large, round Russian bliny served with butter, honey, various preserves and caviar, as well as sweets, fruits and Russian tea from the colorful samovar. Groups of well-wishers, dressed in traditional Russian outfits, walk around their village or neighborhood and throw seeds, beans or grains mixed with money, to wish their neighbors and friends prosperity and abundance. This is called ‘Schedrikha’ : the abundance wishing ritual.
It’s also traditional to have sled snow rides, the pinnacle of which are the Russian troika rides: troika means three horses riding as one. People also have snow fights, build snow men and snow or ice terema (castles).

RIP Fidel Castro: Remembering Comandante (and how I met him)
A long-time Cuban leader and one of the most iconic and controversial figures of the 20th century, Fidel Castro, died last night aged 90. The funeral is scheduled for December 4 in Santiago de Cuba.
I met Fidel Castro when I was 20. As a translator for the Soviet Ministry of Education and la Universidad de la Habana, I had the chance to interpret in the meetings of the Soviet scientific delegations with Fidel Castro.
Fidel Castro’s lifetime achievement was something no one believed possible: a tiny, poor and seemingly defenceless island, just a short distance from Florida, was able to withstand over 50 years of pressure and threats from the 500-pound gorilla next door. USA orchestrated a brutal 50-year Cuban economic blockade and multiple attempts at invasions and subversions. Castro himself survived over 500 CIA assassination attempts – more than any leader in recent human history.
