Good morning and welcome to Tasha's Thinkings. Today I would like to revisit 2 recipes that I love and which are absolutely perfect for the holiday season, or any celebration actually.

These are the prefect compliment to each other, or can be used completely separately, whichever is best for your party or gathering.

Small Childhood Traumas - How They Shape Us #ThinkyThursdays 8

Small Childhood Traumas How They Shape Us
Now I'm not talking about big things like personal tragedy or abuse when I say "childhood traumas" because I'm not qualified to talk about such things. What I mean is the little things that stick with us and have helped shape our personalities.

I hope you will join with me today in welcoming Dave Higgins, author and blogger, to Tasha's Thinkings. He very kindly agreed to be interviewed for Writerly Wednesdays and after you have enjoyed his answers to the scintillating questions, please check out his links and books :).

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I'm a voracious (or addicted) reader. In an average year, I’ll read well over a hundred books of various genres, and I have difficulty not reading...

How To Display the Blogger Labels Widget on a Separate Label's Page - #TipsTuesdays 15

So I reorganised all my Blogger labels at the weekend because they were messy and not very helpful and I also looked into how to Display Blogger labels on their own page (mine is called Blog Topics), like the tags page on LJ so they were easier to see. I had a few issues, so I decided to write it up.

Mama - More Than Just a Bump in the Night - #MonsterMondays 27

Good day and welcome to my blog on the Wintery Monday. Today I have chosen a ghostly monster to tingle all our spines. I hope you enjoy Monster Monday 27.

Mama - More Than Just a Bump in the Night
So Mama is the kind of horror film I love. It doesn't just come out and show us the monster. Taking a leaf out of Asian horror films this is all glimpses and moments that make us jump for a good percentage of the film rather than complete in our faces monsterness. This I think makes the perfect monste...

I did it - woohoo! 50K FTW

Sorry, no Fan Friday today because I'm too busy crowing :) I finished NaNoWriMo today after I hit 50K on my Harry Potter fanfic, Defence, Pretence, Offence.

Well, technically I hit 100K because I had 50K before I started, and I still have more to write, in fact a lot more, but I still won NaNoWriMo :).

I honestly have no idea how long it's going to be in the end. I have 46 chapters at the moment, but I'm not sure if it will grow any more of if some will be combined. Only five of those chapters...

2 Sure-Fire Methods for Finding Errors in Your Work - #TipsTuesdays 14

Now we all know that authors need help editing and we should always get someone else to look over our work before it is published, however, it's always good to get rid of as many errors as we can ourselves first, and of course blog posts are often a solitary effort. Today I want to pass on two methods I use all the time to help me find errors in my writing. I hope they are as useful to you are they are to me. Tips Tuesdays 14
