I haven't visited this site for a long time, so I stopped by "I Write Like" for a little analysis today.
http://iwl.me/If you've never heard of it, it's a site that compares a sample of your writing to a database of famous writers, spitting out your stylistic "soulmate". I took some random passages from my book "The Athena Effect", and here's what happened.
Entry #1 : Stephenie Meyer... Okaaay.

Entry #2 : William Gibson... WHO? I had to look that one up. Hmmm.

Entry #3 : Charles Dickens... *puffs up a little*

Entry #4 : Dan Brown... which brings me full circle, because I got Dan Brown when I first tried out this site. That time, I entered excerpts from my first book, "Between The Land And The Sea".
I'm going to quit while I'm ahead.
I'd take it with a grain of salt, but for what it's worth, check it out! Click on the link, enter a sample of any kind of writing and find out who it thinks YOU write like ;)
