Hey Ken, sense of place has always been really important to me and especially so this year. Just wondering what other places in the country make you feel that deep connection to the area that you get in the Mojave, if any. I’d really like to move out of

Hello and thanks for the good question. Many places call to me: hometown of New Orleans, the Eastern Sierra, slickrock country in SE Utah, the Hudson Valley, the wooded / coastal Pacific Northwest. The intermountain West, Nova Scotia, Blue Ridge Mountains. Anyplace where we can be part of our eco-region, eat the food from the land and sea, know the folklore and history and plants and animals.
