My Second Novel is Coming...
Hello all! Even though I just published my first novel Slate to Amazon and Barnes & Noble these last few days, I am already hard at work at completing my second novel, a YA fantasy comedy called Happy Birthday to Me! In fact I've written THREE books thus far and have just begun outlining a fourth. Look for Happy Birthday to Me to be published in early to mid May. And stay tuned for more details...

First Review of Slate!
Valentina at Carabosse's Library was nice enough to write me a review of my debut novel Slate, and she loved it!
Here's an excerpt from her review...
"I was surprised by this book. It was really fun, quick, punchy, with the aura of Hollywood enmeshed in its pages. The main character Vivien Slate is a powerhouse of laughs as she does whatever she can to get her way in every situation. Some scenes, like a classic purse fight with her husband, had me laughing out loud. She is surprisingly lovable, even in her maniacal selfishness.
I found myself captivated with the ins and outs of movie casting, learning a lot about how a movie comes together and making me very glad I never considered entering that world in any manner.
If you're looking for a good, fast read, one that is perfect for the beach or on vacation, this is an excellent choice."

New to GoodReads!
Hello everyone! I'm new to GoodReads and I just wanted to introduce myself! My name is Brian Rowe, I live in Reno NV, and I am a life-long lover of the printed word!! I'm 26 years old and recently moved back from Los Angeles, where I went to college and also worked in various entertainment jobs, including feature film casting. My two years in casting gave me the inspiration to write a novel about a casting director, and after a year of revisions and hard work, I have finally released my first novel SLATE! I look forward to discussing my book with readers, and I can't wait to interact with those like me who simply love to read. For a time I thought I was meant to be a filmmaker, but now I know writing books is what I'm supposed to be doing. I've already written my second and third books, and am outlining a fourth. There's lots more to come, but for now, check out my debut novel, SLATE!
