Nikki stepped inside the foyer, her grip tightening on her computer bag. Weston gently closed the door behind her. A short, older woman with a round figure, large bosom and gray hair came down the stairs. She carried a wicker hamper under one arm. Must be Mrs. B.
She smiled in Nikki’s direction, but stopped a few steps above Fitzgerald so they were on eye-level and asked, “She’s staying?”Fitzgerald shook his head. “No, she’s not.”“Why?” Mrs. B asked, voice rising in exasperation.His eyebrows shot up above the sunglasses. “Because I say so.”The housekeeper dismissed his words with a wave of her hand. “Jibber-jabber, googly goop. You need her and you know it.” She wagged her finger in his face. “You’re just being impossible.”Nikki couldn’t agree more. “But I know what’s best for this ranch.” He leaned down and pressed a kiss on her temple. “Now go.”She shook her head. “If you think turning on the charm will make me—”“I’m done discussing this with you, Mrs. B,” he added in a hard voice, his face a few inches from hers. “Go.”She humphed and walked to where Nikki’s stood and offered her hand. “Welcome to Eagles Hill, Ms. Savoy.” She didn’t give Nikki a chance to respond before she waved to the foreman. “Come along, Weston. There’s no reasoning with him when he’s in one of his moods.”“I will be fixin’ the south fence if you need me, boss,” Weston said as he followed the woman.“No,” Fitzgerald said in a firm voice. “Leave the fence for tomorrow and wait in the kitchen until I’m done with Ms. Savoy. You two have a long drive ahead of you.”Nikki’s heart dropped. He really meant to send her away. She had to find a way to convince him to let her stay. Too much was at stake.

About the Author
Emily Fogle was born and raised in Southern California. Her dream and ultimate goal was to get her Masters degree in English and become a teacher with enough time to write, as well. However, she soon found out that the best dreams often come true when they aren’t planned. Instead of fulfilling her teaching goal, real life took over and she married the man of her dreams. She now has an amazing 7 year old son and another beautiful baby boy on the way.
She dedicates the majority of her time taking care of her family, volunteering at her son’s school, and being a Cub Scout Den leader. And though she loves every minute of it, the thought of being a writer still tugs at her heart. So, after the busy days are done and everyone is finally sleeping quietly, she squeezes in time for all the other loves in her life: the characters running wild inside her head.
Now, incredibly, her writing dream is also coming true. Her first novel, Dragon Wars, is being published by Anchor Group. Emily feels sincerely blessed to have been given so much in life and can’t wait to start the next chapter.

Great Zombie Anthology It used to be hard to get a good zombie book that mixes erotic elements without the focus being on the zombie hunters as opposed to the zombies, so it's fantastic that authors are taking chances and writing stories in which zombies are as consumed by another base instinct as they are by the need to feed.
It's easy to screw up zombie erotica by going campy, but Tamsin Flowers puts together a great collection here that has shades of quite a few great classic zombie tales. For instance, the first story, "Red Hot Zombie Cock" brings to mind Richard Matheson's "Dance of the Dead." The stand-out story is the last story, though this would appeal more to those who love good erotica than those who are here for the zombies: it just has all the right elements.
Virgin zombies, new zombies, and voyeur zombies (this one had a laugh-out-loud ending), Zombie Erotoclypse is an entertaining read for folks like me who love a good zombie anthology. Hoping for a second collection.
See! I took a chance on Zombie Erotoclypse - so should you!And just to encourage you, here's an excerpt from the second story in the collection, I was a Teenage Zombie Virgin. Most of us, if we're not still living through them, remember the teenage years as a time of confusion and self-consciousness off the scale - life was out to embarrass big time, with zits, sprouting hair, breasts that were either too big or non-existent and rogue erections at the worse possible moments. Well, try to imagine going through all this and being a zombie. Problem? Body hair is the least of them…
Here's an excerpt:
Teenage virgin zombie John has just been rescued from a baying mob of healthy humans by a girl he used to know before he became a zombie. She saved him for the sake of her brother who, when bitten by a zombie, was taken from the family and killed.
Like I said, every zombie has the vestige of the human he once was flickering inside him, and at that moment, I forgot our differences. I forgot that I was zombie and she was a healthy girl. I forgot that all I wanted to do was fuck her and then eat her and I caught her up in my arms and held her tight against my chest.Great sobs pulsed through her for a couple of minutes, then she sniffed loudly."So you see, I couldn't let them take another boy away from his family."She looked up at me, her dark hair curling in sweaty tendrils round her forehead, her liquid brown eyes full of trust. I bent my head and I kissed her. I kissed her in a way that I'd never kissed a girl before I was a zombie. Our lips met, hers so soft compared with mine, rough and chaffed and scabby. Her mouth opened and her tongue glided against my mouth, applying a gentle pressure until I let it slip inside. I can't say how it must have compared with her other experiences of kissing, though it was obvious she'd had some, but for me it was sublime. I heard a low, guttural moaning, like an animal in pain, and took a moment to realize that it was me. AUTHOR BIO Tabatha's been writing since she could pick up a pencil. Her first publication was a little poem in her elementary school paper, from that point on she was hooked. When she was a teenager, she traded in her girly magazines for personalized writing notebooks.
At nineteen, she met her own personal prince charming and writing took a back burner for a while. She's now married to that prince and the mother of a beautiful seven-year-old princess/rock star. Once her daughter was born, writing came back into her life, and she finished her very first novel, Wicked Fate, in May of 2009.
