7 Christians killed, teen girl kidnapped in Boko Haram attack

Christmas 2019 has been deadly and tragic for Christians, including an attack on Christmas eve by Boko Haram in which seven were killed and a teenage girl was taken. Two days later, Islamic State claimed to have killed 11 Christians.

Tajikistan pastor surprised by early prison release—‘All these years, I felt your prayers’

On Wednesday, December 17,  at 10 am, imprisoned Tajikistan pastor Bahrom Kholmatov was freed—unexpectedly released three months early from a prison term set to end in March 2020. The Central Asian pastor says that while he was jailed, he felt the thousands of prayers for him.

A recent attack reflects the ongoing violence and bias against Christians in Egypt. A mother and two grown sons were suddenly stabbed by a radical Muslim. "Christians shouldn't be on the street because they're dogs," the man yelled right before he took his first swipe.
