No more Pulse Of Heroes on Smashwords
This is what happens when a few bad ones ruin in for everyone else. But I guess we live in a den of thieves? I am sorry to announce that I have been forced to remove Pulse Of Heroes from Smashwords. In less than a month and only 10 copies circulating, someone started posting pirated copies of POH around the net. The Smashwords model is just not safe for authors and I will work on another solution for those of you abroad. The good thing is that we did find out who was doing it , and I have contacted a lawyer.
Can I please ask you to keep an eye out for pirated copies of Pulse Of Heroes and contact me right away if you find any. Pulse of Heroes is priced very fair and will only be legally purchased through my website on PayPal, Amazon, Createspace or bookstores. Any other copy out there is illegal and stolen.I am an indie author and do hardly get paid per copy sold.For those of you who love to read- support us authors or we will stop writing out of no choice.
In good news editing for the second installment is going great and the reviews for POH have been amazing. I couldn't be happier with all the support I'm getting. It keeps me writing even if I'm in pain. I do it because I want to make you, my readers happy. It's 6:30 and I haven't gone to bed... I think I should. The craziness summed up :)
I know. . . it's been a while, but being that I am actually editing and trying to get the second installment in The Pulse series ready for a Halloween release, I am pretty busy.
Not to mention that I am on tour at Romancing Your Dark Side- this amazing blog/review/interview/Giveaway virtual tour where I am guest blogging and answering many questions . I am basically tied to my laptop and putting in 10-12 hour days.
I am not in anyway complaining. In the past month the amount of five star reviews doubled and it's still climbing up and up. I can't wait for you to read book II and have you love it just as much!
In other news. Tomorrow is August 15th which means today at midnight I will close the giveaway contest on Goodreads. I will announce the winner of a free signed copy of `~The Pulse~ on Goodreads and Facebook. So stop by and see if it's you.
Also don't forget to check out my virtual tour dates in the link provided in blue Below. Everywhere I stop you will be able to enter a giveaway from Pulse of Heroes. I have large Pulse Of Heroes 2012 poster calendars and also smaller magnet ones. At the end of the tour someone will also win an autographed copy of Pulse Of Heroes. So I decided to make things a little fun in the world of The Pulse and came up with a great contest that I will host on Goodreads.com. It’s very simple and whoever gets picked will get a copy of their choice (Kindle/Print) of the second installment in The Pulse series! Here are the instructions:
Write that lovely short review you've been meaning to; including one sentence from Pulse Of Heroes and post it on Goodreads.com Include a photo of either your book, (no corner cutting) or Kindle account showing Pulse Of Heroes on your account. You can do that by changing your profile picture for the duration of the contest. For those of you who have already written a review, you are automatically counted in the contest. I'm Alive!
Really. But what I'm doing right now is a writing marathon finishing the second installment of The Pulse series. The Book's name is "The Pulse" also.
For those of you who have read Pulse Of Heroes, you know how much I jampack into my novels. And I know, I know that the last three chapters you couldn't put it down for a second. You know why? because that's how I wrote it.
I think about all day. try to get the littlest things done just so I can go back to writing. I have tow spurts of writing in the day. One is in the morning, but the other starts around 11:00 Pm and will continue till I can no longer see the scree. -Last night (Morning) it was 4 AM.
So I will be more active as soon as the book is finished. Editing is very time consuming but doesn't overtake my brain :)
