Fireteam Zulu now available

Fireteam Zulu is Jamie Alan Belanger’s second novel. Set in the Terran Shift universe, this genre-blending novel will introduce you to a group of ex-marines who are the people’s last line of defense in the final frontier.

The year is 2254. Humanity has expanded into our solar system – colonizing the moon, Mars, Phobos, Deimos, and several asteroids. We have space stations and secret military bases. But we’ve spread too far, too fast, and the military cannot adequately police the solar system....

Lost Civilizations Harder To Find Than First Imagined

Despite their valiant efforts, the Greater Portland Scribists will not deliver their Scribings on Lost Civilizations by their self-imposed May 31st deadline.

“You can’t really blame them,” comments Professer Stephanie Targuson of the Ancient History department at New Liverpool University. “It was an ambitious deadline from the start. Investigating an Egyptian pyramid in the Gobi Desert could take months on its own. But to throw in the Vikings, a labyrinth, some fictional civilizations that had...

Creating A Genre

When people find out that I’m a fiction writer, they ask what type of stories I write. I’ve been replying, “I write Science Fiction and Fantasy.” The reaction I get is an almost universal and immediate disinterest. This almost makes me feel like I should apologize. But I’ve been rethinking this lately, as I’ve talked with some people who don’t normally read science fiction, yet they thoroughly enjoyed my first novel, Pariah.

When I released Pariah, I tagged it as “Science Fiction (High Tech)”...

Fireteam Zulu Cover Reveal

After much, much work, I have finally managed to get the cover the way I like it. This was the final piece in the Fireteam Zulu puzzle. The interior text is done and all I have to do now is format the text and upload the book to Smashwords, Amazon, and CreateSpace.

So, in short, Fireteam Zulu should be ready to publish by the end of this month.

Fireteam Zulu Almost Done

Just a quick note to say that I'm almost done with Fireteam Zulu. I passed what I considered to be the final revision to Paul and he passed it back with some minor edits. Once I tweak those and finish the cover, it will be ready for release!
