Hop Against Homophobia



Most people know my standing on anythng and everything LGBT. If not, you simply don't live close enough or ran into me anywhere where it's been a topic (lol). I've tried my best to teach my children the same way.
While not religious as an adult...I grew up in church. I always ask myself...when I'm told it's a sin....why is it OK to hate someone or say God doesn't approve?Now, I do generally avoid all topics with anything religious or political...but really -- call it was it is...when I did go...

The *Thing* About Being a Writer

I see those images floating around Facebook....
"This is what my mom thinks I do...this is what my friends think I do..." and so on.

So, I got to thinking of it on a personal level as a writer.

The problem with being a writer is that you can't seem to keep any sort of business hours. If my kids didn't need me home full time, I honestly think I'd forget writing, forget the publishing company and go back to a job where people didn't think I was available 24/7.

Author Interview: Samantha Drane


What inspired you to write your first book?The framework for Twist of Fate came from a week full of what I like to call my ‘cinema’ dreams. I had managed to write three of the chapters from those dreams. Two of those three chapters were the end fight chapter and the first chapter where we’re introduced to Alex.
Do you have a specific writing style?I’ll have to admit that I am a little quirky when it comes to my writing style. I tend to write single chapters first, then write the one before or...
