Oren has no last name—at least none that he remembers. His parents died when he was young and he’s been on his own for so long it’s a miracle he even knows his first name.
I have no plans to write any more books to follow Lark Ascending, as I feel like Lark’s story is now complete and feel no compulsion to open that up again. It’d be fun to write about the pre-Institute world, someday, but it’s not in the cards for...

The portraits of President Barack Obama were created based on data collected by a Smithsonian-led team of 3-D digital imaging specialists and include a digital and 3-D printed bust and life mask. They used 50 custom LEDs and 14 cameras to compile a detailed topography of the president’s head and upper torso.
