"Won't that be an interesting day?" That better be a Firefly reference, because I swear Jayne said that to Mal in the first episode.

Dude, now you mention it, I know what line you’re talking about! Mal asks something like “What happens when the money is good enough [to betray me]?” and Jayne’s all “Well, that’ll be an interestin’ day.”


The reference (in this quote) definitely wasn’t on purpose, but I wouldn’t be surprised if somewhere in the depths of my brain there was a connection, as Firefly’s one of my favorite shows.
