Real friendship

Picture Real friendship is shown in times of trouble; prosperity is full of friends. (Euripides)

Real friendship is a curious thing.

I believe real friendship is an action of love – the outward concern and regard fo...

A hero never mentioned

Picture I miss my dad. I was thinking about my dad today, so I decided to perform an internet search on his name.

Nothing came up.

No information, no photos, no videos … no mention whatsoever of the person that meant the most to me for most of my life.

No information about his service to our country in the United States Marine Corps, in two wars – World War II and Korea.

Nothing about his genealogy, his family, his friends … he had all three.

No mention of his tenure with the one...

That voice can be as subtle as a whisper or as loud as thunder from the heavens, yet both can be heard with the same clarity.

A writer's heart beats...

God, Amazon, & Jeff Bennington

Picture The last 72 hours have been ... PHENOMENAL!!!

I'll hit you with some AWESOME (my sons' word for it) stats at the end of this - but I want to tell you a story first. I'm a fiction writer but this one's true. It started early on December 24th, just four days ago. I have a normal routine every morning, check my emails - then check my rankings (I keep a worksheet) - I do a bunch of other stuff, but I'll save that for a post for another day.

So, I'm checking my rankings ... and I always keep...
