Annibale Ruccello (7 February 1956 – 12 September 1986) was an Italian playwright, theatre director, and actor.
He studied philosophy and anthropology, his plays reveals his interests. He also studied neapolitan dialect and linguistics. In 1978 he started directing and writing plays with themes borrowed by neapolitan folklore. Ruccello was recognized as one of the most original and promising Italian playwright of his time. He died in a car crash in 1986.
