I love six of crows so much I don’t even know how to express my love for all of these characters. I’m rereading the book in preparation for Crooked Kingdom, so here are the six fabulous outcasts! A lot of them don’t look exactly how I pictured them, but this was a just a bit of practice. I’m hoping I can get their features and everything all cleaned up when I go and draw the characters again :)

She looked out over the Fjerdan soldiers. She could hear their hearts beating. She could see their neurons firing, feel their impulses forming. Everything made sense. Their bodies were a map of cells, a thousand equations, solved by the second, by the millisecond, and she knew only answers.”

Kaz crouched down beside him and produced the folded document from a pocket that had seemed empty just a moment before. “This?”
The Fjerdan flopped his useless arms, then released a low animal growl as Kaz made the pardon vanish in thin air. It reappeared between his fingers. He turned it once, flashing the text, then ran his hand over it, and showed Helvar the seemingly blank page.
“Demjin,” muttered Helvar. Kaz didn’t speak Fjerdan, but that word he knew. Demon.
Honestly, Kaz giving Matthias the beat down is one of my favorite scenes too ;)
