Not bad looking? He’s damnably handsome. Brave in battle, smart as a whip. An excellent dancer… Oh, and an even better shot. (happy birthday, @richardpapan

jesper and inej: friendship for @bladesofsilk

“Inej, I’m sorry—”
“I didn’t come looking for an apology, Jesper. You have a weak spot. We all have weak spots.”
“What’s yours?”
“The company I keep,” she said with a slight smile.

What's a tidbit you can tell it's about the series you're writing that will come out after Wonder Woman?

Let’s see. Ninth House is a fantastical thriller full of bloody magic and set amid the secret societies at Yale. That’s about all I can share right now.

And I’m actually working on a few new things, but I can’t discuss any of it until the new year. IT IS EXCRUCIATING.

Thus endeth the ask binge. Thanks for all the lovely questions and kind words.

I don't know if you'll see or answer this, but your writing means so much to me. I had a lot of trouble this year figuring out my sexuality and reading all of your books really helped me realize I'm bisexual. It's so nice to have such incredible representa

I love you too and I’m sorry you’ve had a tough year.

If you’re looking for more bisexual protagonists, can I recommend Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova, Pantomime by Laura Lam, Under the Lights by Dahlia Adler, and Adaptation by Malinda Lo?

In my head, Nina and Wylan have crisp educated accents, Inej and Jesper retain their Suli/Zemeni accents and Kaz sounds...I guess the closest equivalent would be Brooklyn/the Bronx. Very rough and low in the throat, capable of being VERY fast when it suits

Inej yes. Jesper is a little more complicated because he would have spoken predominantly Kerch at home since his father didn’t speak Zemeni. I am NOT into Kaz sounding like a New Yorker, but your head canons are your own ;)
