Fall of Eden (Book 2) in Editing
I'm about 2/3 of the way through the edit of Fall of Eden. I need to make some minor adjustments toward the end of the book. I expect it to take about 2-3 weeks to get the proof back, and then it goes to PDFs for the final proofread. So it looks like book two might be ready as early as mid-May.
Preparing for March 5 Launch Party
Preparations are underway for the Heir to Power launch party on Saturday, March 5.
If you're in the Denver area, come on by!

Important News about the First Run of Heir to Power!
Important News! Hi – this is Michele Poague, budding new author, learning about this process the hard way. After reading the first printed copy of Heir to Power I have discovered, and received feedback about, errors in the text. Fear not! The errors are being corrected and new files are being submitted to all of the fulfillment outlets including Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and Borders. Please note: if you are planning on ordering Heir to Power within the next 60-90 days, you might still receive a copy with errors. Such is the nature of the publishing process – these things take some time to catch and fix. Who knows, like the Philosophers Stone, the original print might be worth something some day
.
I will keep you informed via my blog, facebook and website as the process moves along. I appreciate your feedback so please leave posts and comments or email me. If you have received a copy of the book with errors and would like to receive a clean copy, please contact me at info@michelepoague.com. Thank you for your support and ongoing interest in the The Healing Crystal trilogy.

"My girlfriend got this book, let me read it and I must say it was a wonderful read. The dialog is outstanding, the characters memorable and the story fresh. I could not put this book down until I had read the whole of it. I am not only ordering it for myself but for my close friends. While I believe this book will attract young adults, anyone who remembers their years between childhood and becoming an adult will love it. Beyond this, the action in this book, the fighting, running, pursuing, are all full of the tension that makes a good read. The characters' motivations are clear, understandable, and reasonable. The plays between the sisters and between the rivals for Kinter as well as for the Crystal are not only believable but anyone who has had siblings will recognize themselves while reading this book. If you remember your teenage years, the doubts and fears, the love/hate that goes on between siblings, the wanting to be who you are and not who others wish you to be, then this is a good read for you. If you liked The Clan of the Cave Bear for its detail, its ability to get you into the world of the story, you will most definitely like this book. The detail is rich and clear, the society painted with a fine brush, and the characters full and complete. I would recommend this as a high school reader because it has so many lines for discussion – the doubts of the main character, the rivals motativations, the contrast between the two societies, as well as how religion and law come into being…"
