15 Young Adult books for readers of all ages

When The Independent says, “But this is no ordinary teenage romance: Finch suffers from undiagnosed bipolar disorder, and what could have been a whimsical YA love story turns into one of the most realistic portrayals of mental illness fiction has offered in recent years.”

I’m so honored to be included on this list!

These lovely books from @editionspaulsen are cold reads for hot days. Ada Blackjack is the second book I ever wrote, and the true story of a young woman who was the only female and the only survivor of an Arctic expedition. She triumphed over sexism, abuse, and horrible self doubt, and emerged a hero. I was honored to write her story. Now available in French!
