You know when you meet someone for the first...
You know when you meet someone for the first time, someone who perhaps unknowingly helped you so much, you want to tell them everything, you want to talk for hours, you want to say everything you’ve been practicing to say for days, but nerves overtake you, and the queue behind you is too long, so all you stubble out is a bunch of thank you’s and hope they carry across the amount of gratitude and respect you have for the person.
So thank you @jenniferniven thank you for being lovely, for writing what alot of people can’t bare to write or read, for being strong, for sharing your story, for unknowingly helping me the ways you did, you are all the bright places.

Today I arrived in Bologna for the International Children’s Book Fair, the world’s largest event for children’s publishing. The fair kicks off tomorrow but I was able to have a preview this afternoon. I’m so excited to be here!
