Today’s #TBTis the last night of the Bologna Book Fair...
Today’s #TBTis the last night of the Bologna Book Fair in Bologna, Italy, when Penguin Random House hosted an All the Bright Places party for the book,me, and all my foreign publishers. They came from across the globe and it was so overwhelmingly lovely that I cried during my speech and they cried, and we drank champagne and took selfies and I felt like Cinderella dancing with 34 princes. Thank you, Penguin Random House, for being one of my brightest places and for making me lovely.

So last summer I did my very first event for All the Bright...
So last summer I did my very first event for All the Bright Places with my favorite YA author, David Levithan. A total breathless fangirl moment. Since then, we’ve done events together in New York, Texas, and the UK, and yesterday I did my last event of this leg of my tour with none other than David. Thanks to one of the loveliest people I know for bringing it full circle, and for all the graciousness and generosity you’ve shown me!
I’ve been to book signings and events in the past where...
I’ve been to book signings and events in the past where you just hope to god someone shows up, so at each stop along my All the Bright Places tour, I’ve been happily, excitedly overwhelmed by all the lovely, lovely readers and their enthusiasm. How on earth could anyone ever take this for granted? On Saturday, I signed copies of the book at BookCon, and this was the line. My mom, more than anyone else, would have been so proud.
