Save The Arctic – A Tales From The Lounge Special
The Arctic is under threat from people whose only interest is in making money.
Greenpeace wants to create a global sanctuary in the uninhabited area around the North Pole (the region some people call the High Arctic) and ban offshore oil drilling and industrial fishing in the wider Arctic region.
A UN resolution is needed to place the area under legal protection just like Antartica.
