Online magazine:)

I have been a busy bee as usual. I am currently writing book 6 in the Blood & Light Vampire series and as always I thank everyone for supporting me. The story itself is very personal to me and those who actually know me, know what a struggle this series has been for me emotionally as I have dealt with the loss of my Dad and my mothers battle with stage 3 cancer. But you know, being able to chanel all of that into these books has helped me so much.
Other news... I have started an online magazine to support independant artists and the response has been overwhelming. It makes my heart sing to know that so many others believe in the support given to artists and their incredible work. It is dedicated to art in all mediums and if you have not checked it out yet, please do, here is the link...

Thanks again to all who have supported me on this very personal journey as I have written this series. I still miss my Dad terribly, but writing has given me a way to immortalize him and how I feel about not only his passing but my Mom's battle with cancer, which she is still dealing with. It also gave me the opportunity to share my life with you and the powerful ties that I have with all the closest people in my life who are the characters of Blood & Light.To any and all who do create art, never stop sharing your vision with the world, not everyone will like what you do but you will find that when you do it from your heart, more will connect with you than not. xoxo

Updates...

Well, Blood & Light is now sitting at #86 on the "Beautiful Covers of 2011" here in goodreads:D I am super thrilled about it and want to thank everyone who has voted again. Also, the august contest at vamptasypublishing.co.uk is still going on...if you go to site, scroll down, you will see the cover of Blood & Light, answer a simple question and enter to win a free copy of it:) Also in the deal is a 50% off coupon for book two "Smoke & Mirrors".
Other stuff & things...
I have another photoshoot coming up at the end of September with the models for the characters of the Blood & Light series. We are also finalizing plans on the commercial we are shooting for the series that will air this fall on the CW. Book one & two are now available for sale on smashwords.com and amazon.com and book three is done in editing thanks to my editor, Holly Buckler:) Book three "Oil & Water" will release in October 2011 along with the printed version of Book one "Blood & Light". Book two "Smoke & Mirrors" will go to print right in time for christmas:)

Well I did a radio interview with Romance Radio last night and I have an online booktour coming up in September. Both "Blood & Light" and "Smoke & Mirrors" are doing very well and book three is almost done in editing:) also!
