SPX/Simon H/Patrick K/M DeForge kick off

Me, Patrick and Simon go on tour this week! I’ll be promoting the events for each individual city as I go. First up is SPX/Bethesda/Baltimore weekend.

Friday, September 12th

7 pm – Atomic Books, Baltimore
Simon Hanselmann will be reading alongside Charles Burns, Josh Bayer, Ed Piskor, Emily Flake, Noah Van Sciver and Tom Neely at Atomic’s annual SPXlosion party.

9pm – Floristree, Baltimore

Creep Highway (Patrick Kyle, me) will be playing with Strange Times People Band, Alan Resnick, Oh Hang and Alex Body. Click on the above poster by Noel Freibert and Molly Colleen O’Connell for more details!

Saturday, September 13th – Sunday, September 14th

SPX proper! I’ll be tabling all weekend next to Youth in Decline. My big debut for the month is Lose #6, which just hit stores this week.

It’ll be for sale at the Koyama Press table! At my own table, I’ll have two small zine debuts – a print version of my Margot the Airplane comic and a short Leather Space Man story, each 3×3 inches. I’ll also some other comics I’ve made from the past year for sale.

Also debuting will be the silkscreened version of this collaborative poster I made with Simon Hanselmann and Patrick Kyle at the Telegraph Gallery table:

I’ll additionally be signing at both the Koyama Press table (11 am – 1 pm on the Saturday, 12 – 2 pm on the Sunday) and the Drawn and Quarterly table (4 pm – 5 pm on the Saturday, 3 – 4 pm on the Sunday)

Patrick, Simon, and I will also be joining some west coast pals for this unwieldy panel at the end of the day on Saturday:
