Ignatz Awards

I won three Ignatz Awards! It is crazy and overwhelming to think about. Thanks to the judges and anyone who voted, and congrats to all my fellow winners and nominees!

SPX was great. It was awesome to see old friends and meet new people. Thanks to Anne Koyama for being generally amazing, and for letting me crash the KP table this weekend

I had such a great time at the Helsinki Comics Festival. Conundrum Press’ Andy Brown and Joe Ollmann have provided much better recaps of our time there than I could ever write.

Thanks to all my travel buddies, to all the new people I met, and thanks especially to the festival organizers and staff!

Helsinki Comics Festival 2013

I will be attending this year’s Helsinki Comics Festival from the 6th-8th of September! Come see me there, Finland. At 1 pm on Sunday, I’ll be participating on a panel with Howard Chackowicz, Philippe Girard, Julie Delporte, John Martz and Joe Ollmann, where we will talk about being Canadian cartoonists who draw Canadian comics in Canada *Canada*! I will also just be around, like, generally at the festival, also.
