Contest winner and New Contest

Congrats to Leslie F. who won a print copy of Five O'Clock Bar.

I've got a print copy of Forged up for grabs this week. Send me an email at seanmichaelwrites @ gmail . com (no spaces) with Forged Contest in the subject line and Wednesday next week I'll randomly pull a winner.

Simon made his way to the Hammer, checking his watch to make sure he was on time. Almost to the second. Excellent. He didn't want Jeremy to think he wasn't interested in their date, nor did he want to appear too eager.

Beca...

Happy New Year's Eve!

"I can't believe it's New Year's Eve again." Dick poured out three glasses of champagne while the countdown started on the TV. "Is it me or are the years getting shorter?"

Rock snorted. "You're just getting older, kid. Like the rest of us."

Rig was on the floor in the living room, playing with the dogs.

"Hey, Rig. Come drink champagne. It's almost midnight."

"Already? Damn, y'all." Rig rolled up, one of Rock's sweatshirts gigantic on him.

Rock hauled Rig in close and Dick passed out the glasses. "...

Mike and Jessy

Jessy put the DVD in the player, made sure the blankets were nearby and then went to get the hot chocolate and the popcorn. "Mike? Come on, it's time for our New Year's Eve movie fest."

"Coming, Coach." Mike was outside the back door, eyes on the ocean.

He went and wrapped himself around his baby. "Hey."

"Mmm. Hey." Mike leaned, those broad, muscled shoulders pressing against him.

He pressed a kiss to Mike's neck. "What're you doing?"

"Hmm? Nothing. Watching the waves."

"You watch them all the tim...

Jarhead for Monday

"Fuck." Rock rubbed his belly and sat back with a groan. "I'm never fucking eating again." Of course he'd said that Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and yesterday as well. Leftovers were even better than the original meals and Rig always made enough to feed an army. Rig's job was to feed them, Rock's was to make sure he appreciated every damn thing Rig made. And he did a very good job if he did say so himself.

Dick laughed and nodded, looking just as stuffed. "Christmas leftovers are t...

Hercules and Malachi

Hercules grumbled and growled and went looking for Kestrel. He checked the garden, finding the man in there with his lover.

"Ah, Kestrel, Jim. Good morning." Look at him, managing the pleasantries first. "I trust you're both well."

"Good, Boss. Is everything okay?"

"No, it isn't. It's about this Gift day thing."

"Oh? Is... is there something I can do?"

"You can tell me what the hell I'm supposed to get for Malachi." He growled and sat. "I've never been good at this sort of thing." Private gifts he...

Mouse and Peep

Peep waited until he was sure Mouse was asleep and then he snuck out of bed. Grabbing his little bag of beads from the closet, he quietly made his way into the playroom. There he turned on the little light in the corner and curled up on the ground to work on the bracelet he was making for his lover.

He shivered now and then, cold without Mouse's bulk there to keep him warm, but he kept working the beads onto the threads in an elaborate pattern.

"Peep?" Mouse's voice was gentle, a blanket floati...

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Dick climbed the ladder and started putting the tinsel on the enormous tree they'd put up in the gym lobby. He was humming some Christmas carol or other, whatever had last been on the radio.

Most of the ornaments were from staff and customers, everyone had brought something in to hang over the last week or so and the tinsel was just the finishing touch.

It was pretty cool.

A warm hand landed on his ankle. "Hey, Pretty. Looking good."

He smiled down at Rig, warmt...

Greg and Anton

Anton made his way to the kitchen and tried not to growl at the people he met. This was his pack, it wasn't their fault he'd hardly seen Greg at all over the last few days. Actually, it was. Greg had spent days cooking and baking and getting everything ready for Christmas and he wouldn't have had to if none of these other people were here.

Maybe that wasn't fair of him, but he didn't care. It had been days since he'd had a bite of his favorite Chef.

There were a half dozen people in the kitchen...

New books out!

Today my chaser series Guardian Angel came out as a single title. And a bunch of Jarheads short stuff was collected and put into a print book.

Country singer Daniel can't understand why anyone would want him dead, or why anyone would think he's important enough to kidnap. So it comes as a complete surprise when attempts are made on his life and he's appointed Rafe, a G-man guardian angel. Rafe is determined to protect Daniel, even from himself, but it's not an easy job.

Rafe finally takes Danie...
