With all that happens in life, it's easy to get thrown off the creati…moreI'm a firm believer in writer's block and, like most, suffer from it frequently. With all that happens in life, it's easy to get thrown off the creative path. When I'm stuck, I tend to reread the books that have inspired me over the years, or I take a break from books entirely and binge-watch a TV show or watch a bunch of movies. Going on trips—both big and small—can help as well since a change of scenery is always welcome. There's no Right Way or Wrong Way to overcome writer's block, so do what you need to do in order to recharge your motivation and creativity—just be safe and be happy! (less)

I also get to explore different emotions and desires and fears, and learn more about myself in the process. In some ways, writing is cathartic. In others, it's a great and fantastical escape.(less)
