Using Your Shield of Faith
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; Ephesians 6:16 Have you ever taken the time to define your faith? Paul wrote to the Ephesians that we should take up our shield of faith. That with it we can extinguish all the flaming darts (or arrows) of the evil one. But how do we do that? Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates Just Maybe Not This Year
You’re no doubt familiar with the quote, “Momma said life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” However, I think Forrest Gump’s mom might have been a little off. This year, life seems more out of the box… It’s more like off the candy counter… Reaching under the edge of a piece of furniture and seeing what you pull out. Job’s Faith Is Real One of the things I love about the book of Job is Job’s faith. It’s real and it’s raw. He didn’t...

Because of Jesus…
I am blogging over on Candidly Christian today about a recent revelation I had while singing Living Hope one Sunday at church. It’s my daughter’s favorite song, but that has nothing to do with my revelation. Not really. And to be honest, as much as I love writing, this is one of the times that I think my post missed the mark. There are just sometimes when words can’t express what God is doing in your heart. However, I still hope you will head over to Candidly Christian and read my post, “...
