#IWSG Wednesday!

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds! Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs....

Release Day Blast: Travelers by Meradeth Houston
Congratulations to Meradeth Houston on the release of TRAVELERS!
Sienna Crenshaw knows the rules: 1) no time traveling beyond your natural lifetime, 2) no screwing with death, and 3) no changing the past. Ever. Sienna doesn’t love being stuck in the present, but she’s not the type to break the rules. That is, she wasn’t the type until her best friend broke every one of those rules to keep Henry, her twin brother and Sienna’s ex-boyfriend, alive. Suddenly, Sienna is caught in an unfamilia...

Featured Book: Lemonade For You by Ashley McConnell
Today I'm featuring a special book that is helping with a good cause. Part of the proceeds from all the sales of
Lemonade for You
go to Alex's Lemonade Stand, an organization committed to fund research to eradicate childhood cancer.
About the Book:
After seeing a toy she desperately wants, Angela begs her father to get
it for her. When her father tells her that she must find a way to earn
the money to buy it herself, Angela comes up with a plan: she and her
daddy will put together a lemonade stand...

Abandoning Your Best Friend
Writing is a funny thing. I spend months inside a story—creating, revising, refining—and then it’s published and I don’t see it again. It’s like having a really close friend for a year and then abandoning her.
Sure, I have to spend time promoting each story. Most unfortunately, that never stops, but it isn’t the same as when I’m truly inside that story working it. Trying to find the absolute best order for the words so the story creates a physical reaction in the reader. Tears, laughter, raci...

Three Times A Charm with Marie C Collins
Welcome to Three Times A Charm. I love to introduce readers to people involved in children’s publishing. Today we have middle grade author, Marie C. Collins joining us. She’s going to talk a little about her book. But first tell us a little about yourself.
I’ll share a few pieces of me that relate to my Secrets of Farbookonia series. First, I am guilty of extreme house envy. I covet big old Victorian homes. They call to me with their turrets and window seats and attics. They intrigue me and co...

Amazon's Awesome Series Pages
I don't know about you, but one of my pet peeves as a reader is when it isn't clear that a book is 1) part of a series and 2) what order to read the series in. I have stopped reading a series because I've had to work to hard to figure out which book is next.
Amazon is making it much easier to find that information.
First off, they've added the series information directly under the book information. See how when you are on The Weaver's page on Amazon, it shows all the books in the series? This i...
