RL Barrett has always been passionate about fantasy and adventure stories as well as appreciating ancient mythology such as Greek and Egyptian. Having been inpsiried by so many rich and imaginative stories as well as having a love of writing, he sought out to add to that library of beloved fictional tales. After a number of years developing and writing, that effort has now come forth with this first book of a new saga, In Shrouds of Darkness: The Esaeric Knights with four more books planned. He took to heart the advice, “If there’s a book out there that you would like to read but it’s not been written, then write it!” RL Barrett currently resides in Washington in the Pacific Northwest.
