How To Buy Hotel Rooms At Wholesale Rates
Just when I thought I had discovered every possible way to save money on travel, a new website came to my attention. RoomSteals is an ingenious idea that offers travelers the ability to buy hotel rooms at wholesale. I think we all instinctively know that when we purchase a hotel room through one of the major booking sites that there is a profit for the booking portal (almost always a 20 to 25% commission). What if you could get the wholesale rate and save the difference?
Instead of earning a commission on each and every booking, RoomSteals charges an annual membership fee of $95 and then passes along the wholesale prices directly to consumers. They also have an incredible app that can be added to the Google Chrome browser. If you normally shop out your hotels on Booking.com, Hotels.com, Google Hotels, or Expedia, the app will pop-up and show you the price savings (see example below).
Another thing I really like about RoomSteals is that they will let you access the platform for free to kick the tires. Of course, before you can book your first deal you must become a member and pay the annual fee. I love this idea and especially the Google Chrome app.
I wanted to throw in one additional bonus tip on hotel savings. If you are looking for last minute deals, I really love Hotel Tonight. I have used it for years and it has saved me money all over the world.

3 More Strategies For Booking Cheap Flights
I want to share with you a couple of strategies I use with Google Flights to find cheap airfare.
Multiple Departure And Multiple Arrival Airports
Most people do not realize that they can select up to seven departure and seven arrival airports to include in their search. This gives you a combination of 49 different scenarios. If you are willing to be a little flexible on your departure and arrival airports you can find some tremendous deals. In the example below, I have selected 7 different airports in Florida that I am willing to depart from.
24/7 Alerts On Incredible Deals And Even Mistake Airfares
Another great option is to select 'track fares' after completing a basic search. This will put into motion a 24/7 search that will alert you of any deals for that route. Although it is not common, every so often airlines will publish a mistake airfare. These mistake airfares are sometimes 90 percent off the regular price! If you have an alert in place you will be one of the first people to see this deal and will have a chance to grab it before the airline takes it down.
The Points Guy
If you have a decent credit score, there are plenty of rewards credit cards with very generous promotions that can lead to free flights. The Points Guy site keeps a running tab of the best deals going. Some people even make a game of changing credit cards every few months to get perpetual free and discounted flights throughout the year. Below is an interview with the founder of The Points Guy website.
Benefits Of Booking Directly With The Airlines
Regardless of how you find your airfare deal, it makes a lot of sense (especially with the pandemic) to go directly to the airlines site to make your final purchase. If you have an issue and need to reschedule or there is a flight cancelation, it is much less of a hassle to deal directly with the airline.

Victim F Co-Author Nicole Weisensee Egan Joins Jim Paris Live
The shocking true story of a bizarre kidnapping and the victims' re-victimization by the justice system.
In March 2015, Denise Huskins and her boyfriend, Aaron Quinn, awoke from a sound sleep into a nightmare. Armed men bound and drugged them, then abducted Denise. Warned not to call the police or Denise would be killed, Aaron agonized about what to do. Finally he put his trust in law enforcement and dialed 911. But instead of searching for Denise, the police accused Aaron of her murder. His story, they told him, was just unbelievable. When Denise was released alive, the police turned their fire on her, dubbing her the real-life Gone Girl who had faked her own kidnapping.
In Victim F, Aaron and Denise recount the horrific ordeal that almost cost them everything. Like too many victims of sexual violence, they were dismissed, disbelieved, and dragged through the mud. With no one to rely on except each other, they took on the victim blaming, harassment, misogyny, and abuse of power running rife in the criminal justice system. Their story is, in the end, a love story, but one that sheds necessary light on sexual assault and the abuse by law enforcement that all too frequently compounds crime victims suffering.
