I keep saying it, but I think Latin countries will be the next big wave in Comics all over the world. The dedication and vision is INCREDIBLE.

Okay, for some reason, a few people think I said bisexuality was transphobic.
I am sorry, that is horseshit.
I would never say that. I don’t think it, even the idea of it is making me sick to contemplate.
What I said was that ‘a lot of people’; thought that bisexuality meant being attracted to cis men and cis women. It is very clear that I was stating a commonly held, mistaken belief by uninformed people, one that bisexuals have made very clear is not accurate. It never even occurred to me that ANYONE would think I meant the bisexual people themselves, that is utterly baffling.
I get that the Internet is confusing, I get that words can easily be misunderstood.
But I would never, fucking EVER, say bisexuality is transphobic. Or that trans people can’t be bi.
That is one horrible notion, one that would never occur to me in a billion years.
thank you for listening to people about the definition of bisexuality even though it was 4:30 in the morning :)
Listen, seriously, I appreciate it, even when people are mad at me, it’s a big deal to hear from people who are telling the truth of their existence. I thank them.
hey gail. i would have reblogged the post but i don’t have it in me to write paragraphs on why, as a bisexual, i find it personally sickening. the crux of the problem is that your replacing one sexuality with another because you, personally, do not like i
*****
I promise, I did not say I thought she was Pan because I ‘prefer’ it or because I ‘don’t like bisexuality.’
Nothing could be further from the truth. I have absolutely no preference for how people identify, that is their choice and I respect it and love them regardless. I try very hard to represent more kinds of people all around the sexuality spectrum, it’s important.
Also, I completely admit that I am not 100% educated on the precise definitions which is why I asked people in the previous thread to say why they felt as they do. I also chose not to comment because I wanted to listen and learn. I feel like I mistakenly caused some pain and I am very sorry.
When I first said Diana was bi-, LOTS of people (including a lot who identified as bi-) said she might be more accurately defined as pansexual, and with the incomplete understanding that I had, I sort of saw their point, although I did not feel 100% confidence in my knowledge and said so repeatedly.
The last thing I want to do is perpetuate stereotypes. I appreciate people educating me, including this note. I will also say that the definitions seem to be a bit in flux, because as you can see in the previous threads, there is a huge range of opinion from people who identify as bi- and pan as to what the precise difference is, which can be a little confusing.
I am not going to be part of any bi erasure, that is against what I have believed in and fought for my whole career. I am listening to what people are telling me, and will try my best to answer that question in a way that is inclusive and supportive.
If I stumbled with inaccurate wording or outdated definitions, that’s 100% on me and I suck for doing it, and will try to suck a little less in the future. I support bi- (and pan) visibility and would absolutely die on that hill.

People brought up some interesting points in the question about whether Wonder Woman is bisexual or pansexual.
Folks, my expertise is in Wonder Woman here, and am happy to listen to hear if there’s something I am missing.
Someone said that my belief that Diana is pansexual is a form of bi-erasure. I confess absolutely that that thought had not occurred to me, but that is something that I would absolutely never want to do. I hope the fact that I probably have more bisexual characters than any other DC creator shows at least that that wouldn’t be intentional.
But I am listening. Do you think Diana is bisexual, or pansexual, or other?
Please stay respectful to those who identify differently from you, okay? Otherwise, I’ll just nuke the question. Thank you.
