Would you ever want to write for Captain Marvel?

This is a tricky one. I like the character very much, but there are a few books where the creator matched the character so well that I never feel like I want to write them. They don’t need me, someone already made them perfect, if that makes sense.

Kelly Sue DeConnick on Captain Marvel, Greg Rucka on Batwoman, these kinda books just feel to me like I would be trespassing. I know that’s weird to say, but it’s a feeling I can’t shake. For me to take a book, I have to feel something, I have to feel I can bring something (not being able to do that is what made Firestorm so hard). 

If a book doesn’t need that, it’s hard for me to take it over, especially if the team that made it great is still alive and available. 

Are you pumped for the Justice League Dark Movie? I'm hyped though a little skeptical of Zatanna's portayal but overall excited to see so many characters I love on the big screen.

I don’t know anything about it, I’m not really in on what’s going on with the DC movies and animated films. 

How do you respond to defenders of TJK that say that without it, Barbara Gordon never would've become King Shark?

I would say it’s pretty unlikely that I would do a series again, but they may appear if I ever go back to the DCU!
