Safeword: Storm Clouds is reviewed by the Deviant Divas
I would like to thank the Divas at Deviant Divas Erotic Book Reviews for their review of Safeword: Storm Clouds.
Some of the Diva's liked it more than others – here are a few of the nice things said:
Well now if I had realized vampire stories could be as hot as Candace Blevin's "Safeword storm clouds" then I would have explored this genre ages ago.
The main characters Kendra and Eric are both believable and sympathetic. I cared about what happened to them and wanted them to sort out their...

Reduced Price on both Safeword books
Both Safeword: Rainbow and Safeword: Storm Clouds are now $3.99 at Amazon and Bookstrand.
As the publishers figure out the new realities of ebooks versus paper books, I don't think anyone knows what the pricing models should look like. My publisher makes all pricing decisions, and at this point I'm trusting them to price things where they should be.
I'm happy to see my books priced a little lower, if that will put them in the hands of more people.

Books with a pet theme
I'm blogging about books with a pet them over at Kinky Ever After today. I mention several books that involve one species making a pet out of someone who is a different species.
Do you have books with this them that you've enjoyed that you can add to my list?

Safeword: Rainbow is reviewed by The Forbidden Bookshelf
The Forbidden Bookshelf reviewed Safeword Rainbow. The heat level and the book review were both a 4 out of 5. Here are a few highlights from the review:
Despite their differing ideas, the chemistry between Tyler and Vivian was amazing.
… I love reading books like Safeword: Rainbow that push the boundaries of my comfort zone.
It was a well-written and fascinating story, definitely a page-turner.
Several people have had trouble with one of the final scenes of the book. My intention was to...

Safeword: Rainbow is reviewed by All I Want and More
Check out Cecile's review at All I Want and More – I love the way she compares the story to white and dark chocolate:
White chocolate is just that… white, light, sweet, dreamy… The adventure Viv and Tyler will take you on… some of it will be white chocolate. To watch them learn to grow for each other. To watch them fall in love with each other. And to watch them lose themselves to each other is just like that white piece of chocolate.Dark chocolate… has some bite to it. Made to be sweet...February 2, 2011
Blackravens Reviews gives Safeword: Rainbow Five Ravens!
MacKenzie at Black Raven's Reviews gave Safeword: Rainbow a Five Raven review!
Here's some of what she said:
What a great story. I'm was impressed that the entire story was really about these two characters and not necessarily centered solely on their BDSM or sexual aspects. There was danger and intrigue that kept you guessing.
Candace Blevins does a fantastic job of not taking the easy way out in a romance novel.
It was immensely gratifying to watch this story play out page after page.
I haven't...

Excerpt from Safeword: Storm Clouds
How do you restrain a vampire with superhuman strength? You have to get creative, of course. Here is an excerpt that shows a little of Eric's creativity. (If you haven't come straight here then you'll need to click the "Read More" tag to read Chapter One.)
