Thirteen Things I've Done Since I've Been Home

I haven't been doing any Thirteens or blogs, lately. (As some of you have noticed.) This is simply because I'm not able to get optimal internet connections here in the US, etc, and is not meant to be an indicator of a lack of interest.

Due to bandwidth limitations, I'll have to keep this TT fairly short and sweet. So, let's jump in, shall we? This week, I'm sharing Thirteen Things I've Done
Since I've Been Home

1) Slept.

2) Allowed myself some junk food.

3) Regretted that decision almost...

Getting Back to "Normal"

Howdy, all! Sorry I've been maintaining radio silence lately, but I've been in recovery from jet-lag over here in the US. I'll be up and running again soon, though, one way or another, now that my mother has a reasonably good internet connection (on good weather days, at any rate).

So, I'm hoping to keep a steady "connection" with my friends and family back in Italy and around the world, too. Wish me a little tech/geek luck in the meantime - I have a feeling I might need it!

The weekly...

13 Things Which Kept Me Busy This Week

Picture Wow! Another week gone, another Thursday Thirteen post I have to throw together because - again - I've been swamped, this time with preparations for my summer trip to the US.

One day I'll learn and get this done well in advance when I have time. Until then, allow me to present to you
13 Things Which Kept
Me Busy This Week!

PictureSophie helping me *unpack* two years ago. ...sigh... 1) The biggie - Packing! It takes me forever to pack what I want/need to take with me to the US each summer, in...

Thirteen Utterly and Completely Random Posts

PictureBefore anyone complains: This is a photo of a storefront in Firenze, Italy, back in 2006. Ciao a tutti! Hello, everybody!

Well, this week has been a corker. I'm trying to get ready for my summer visit to the US, wrapping up my lessons at the school where I teach, and working out the final kinks in order to get both Ask Me if I'm Happy and "Alternate Rialto" out in paperback.

Of course, this means that I've sacrificed a lot of time and haven't been able to do a proper Thursday Thirteen. So...

13 Photos From the Start of Stage Three of the Giro d'Italia

This week's topic is the result of a lot of mixed emotions for me. I had planned for some time to share photos I'd taken at the start of Stage Three of the Giro d'Italia. Unfortunately, the tragic events prior to the stage's end gave me pause.

In the end, as you can see, I've opted to share the photos after all. After a neutralized stage in Wouter's honor on Tuesday, the race is on in full as of Wednesday. I offer these photos in that same spirit.

So, here we have
13 Photos From the Start of
