Ana de Armas Is Armed and Dangerous in Exclusive BALLERINA Images

One of the most-anticipated movies of this summer is From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. (Of course, we like to call it simply Ballerina.) The film will bring Ana de Armas’ Eva Macarro to the forefront as a ballerina-assassin on a revenge-fueled mission. This world full of secrets and deadly drama is ripe for more exploration, and we will see the Ballerina and the Baba Yaga duke it out on the big screen.

But, pretty much every action sequence in this film looks like it will bring the intensity, skill, and intricate choreography that we love to see in the John Wick universe. We love to see Ana de Armas in hand-to-hand combat but we love these exclusive images of her bearing arms in Ballerina even more.

Click To View Gallery Lionsgate Lionsgate Lionsgate

We get to see Eva be ever the clever assassin, whether she’s using an ice skate to slice a man’s throat or sharpening her shooting skills at a range. You gotta use your resources when you’re life is on the line, right? She’s wielding big guns as she traverses through fire and is going into some dangerous, dark, and murky situation. These Ballerina images make us even more hype to see the dancer/assassin in action this summer.

Ana de Armas moves like art and it is beautiful to watch Eve and her weapons in action. How do these scenes tie into Eva’s overall story? You will have to go and see what happens when From the World of John Wick: Ballerina hits theaters on June 6.

KING OF THE HILL Revival Sets August Release Date

You thought going back to the basement of That ’70s Show with That ’90s Show was a nostalgic trip down memory lane? Well, hold onto your beer cans because you’re about to be standing in front of a fence with some pals. A King of the Hill revival is officially heading to Hulu, and it’s bringing the whole gang back together.

Variety reports that this revival will give us a time jump with an adult Bobby Hill working as a chef. We wonder if Hank is still selling propane or if he’s gone into an early-ish retirement.

Better than an Alamo and almost as good as propane. An all new season of #KingOfTheHill drops Aug 4th on Hulu and with #HuluOnDisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/U8wAkHHg7E

Co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are returning for this King of the Hill reunion. Mike Judge recently had a successful time reviving yet another adult-animated dark-comedy favorite, Beavis and Butt-Head. In Hulu’s King of the Hill Revival, Judge will reprise his role as that bumbling patriarch Hank Hill. Kathy Najimy returns as Peggy. It really is giving us Red and Kitty goosebumps all over again. In addition, Deadline reported that we’ll see the return of “Stephen Root as Bill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill, Johnny Hardwick as Dale, and Lauren Tom as Minh.” It wouldn’t be King of the Hill without them. However, Johnny Hardwick passed away back in 2023, but we will still hear his voice in at least some episodes.

King of the Hill revival coming to Hulu20th Television

This revival has been long-anticipated and in the works since 2017. The original show ran from 1997 to 2010 and had nearly 300 episodes. It zeroed in on one family in Texas as they navigated the perils of ordinary life, growing up, and evolving. We’ll feel interested to see how the series designs itself for modernity. The original episodes of King of the Hill, can, of course, be streamed on Hulu.

Craig Erwich, president of ABC Entertainment, Hulu, and Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals, notes, “We are all so excited to welcome back Hank, Peggy and Bobby, and to see what they have to say about the world we live in and continue the conversations we began years ago. This show has all of the perfect ingredients to meet this moment in animation at Hulu, and we’re so thankful to be having those conversations alongside this talented group.”

Welcome back propane and propane accessories to your life. We can’t wait to see what this King of the Hill revival has in store when it drops on August 4.

This Godzilla Burger Is Worthy of the Kaiju’s Greatness

Godzilla. That single word immediately conjures up specific images of the massive kaiju from his many iterations across generations. We love to see this big boi smash and destroy things with little to no impunity. In fact, Godzilla is more popular with a Godzilla Minus One sequel on the horizon as well as Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. In celebration of his enduring fame, The Sun & The Moon cafe is serving up a special Godzilla menu that includes an incredibly cool burger.

This cafe is located in the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan, which is running a Godzilla art exhibit that lasts until June. So, it’s only right that after seeing some cool Godzilla artwork that you take a bite out of this burger, which is also very divine artwork.

It’s lovely to see that the menu curators and chefs put such care and details into crafting culinary goodness.

READY OR NOT 2 Writer Confirms Film’s Timeline and Compares It to ALIENS

When it comes to Final Girls, one of the best is undoubtedly Samara Weaving’s Grace le Domas in Ready or Not. She goes from having the best day of her life to fighting for her life in the span of one night. Just imagine the horror of your newly minted in-laws trying to kill you in the name of a nasty family curse. The final scene of Ready or Not is a classic and fans have always wondered what happened to Grace after that harrowing experience. Now, we will get answers because Ready or Not 2 is in the works with Samara Weaving and Radio Silence returning.

Writer Guy Busick spoke with Comicbook.com about the Ready or Not sequel, revealing how much time will pass between the two films.

“[The] movie picks up the second after the first movie ends. Grace wakes up in the hospital,” he affirmed. “No time has passed for her. The last thing she remembers is her in-laws exploded, including her new husband. They exploded in front of her and covered her in blood. She went outside and had her cigarette. The EMTs and fire department came. The credits roll and it picks up right there. Worldbuilding was important to us in that even in the first one, we were asking ourselves, ‘The Le Domas aren’t the only family that has done that.’”

We cannot wait to see what we find out next. Busick also said that the Radio Silence team drew inspiration from other major sequel films to craft this next chapter.

“… Radio Silence, the producers, Ryan and myself … over and over again are Aliens and Terminator 2,” he said. “How do you blow it up in a way that isn’t even the same genre, but hits all the notes and has the same DNA?”

The creative collective and Weaving recently worked together on Scream VI, where she portrayed the ill-fated professor who died in the opening scene. According to Deadline, Samara Weaving previously spoke about the possibility of a Ready or Not 2 film with Radio Silence. “I’m all in,” she said. “I think we’re all in, I don’t know. I think we’re all in…I don’t know if we’ve had our blood handshake, but pretty much. We’ve done the spit handshake, but we haven’t cut each other’s hands and rubbed our blood together.”

Additionally, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and David Cronenberg are coming onboard Ready or Not 2. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Lisa Frankenstein actress Kathryn Newton previously joined the cast.

What Is the Release Date for Ready or Not 2?

Of course, we don’t know any further details about Ready or Not 2 at this time. But we know that we cannot wait to see what happens next.

WEDNESDAY Season 2 Will Have More ‘Horror Movie-Worthy’ Moments

Nearly three years after Wednesday’s debut, the show is gearing up for a triumphant return to Netflix later this year. Season two, which will drop in two parts, will take us back to Nevermore Academy for more mysteries, murders, and mayhem. We will even get to know the infamous Addams family members better throughout the drama. The show did a great job of mixing scarier elements and comedy and that element won’t go away. However, Wednesday season two will give us more “horror movie-worthy” moments, according to its creators.

Miles Millar and Alfred Gough spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what fans can expect next. Of course, there will be plenty of Wednesday, but we will also get to follow other characters like Enid and Bianca more. And, with the introduction of Grandmama, the superpowered lineage of Morticia’s family will continue to expand. Combining this with even more horror sounds like a winning plan as new secrets come to the light.

image of wednesday from season two bleeding from the eyes like a horror movieNetflix

“Season 2 definitely has some moments which are more straightforward horror, and we’re very aware that the show is watched by everybody in terms of the age groups,” said Millar. “So we want to make sure that it’s never torture porn, but that there’s enough bite to it that it feels that there are real stakes and that people die in this world, and it’s scary at moments. And I think that’s the great tonal shift that the show makes between comedy and horror.”

Religion Looks to Play a Role in Teaser for WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY

Benoit Blanc and his Kentucky Fried Foghorn Leghorn drawl is coming back for his “most dangerous case yet.” That’s how Daniel Craig’s brilliant detective described his next outing in the announcement trailer for Rian Johnson’s third Knives Out installment, Wake Up Dead Man. Who will join Craig for some murder-mystery fun this time around? What is the movie about? And when (and where) can we expect to see it?

A mysterious Instagram clip teases an eerie church, but doesn’t tell us much else, except, “”The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures.” Sounds like religion will play a Knives Out‘s newest murderous scheme.

Below you can also check out a new look at Daniel Craig’s Blanc from this movie.

Here’s everything we know about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

Title

Knives Out 3 is officially titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. That latter half of that title also appeared in Glass Onion‘s title, much to the chagrin of Rian Johnson.

Knives out 3 gets title Wake Up Dead ManNetflix

Netflix reveals, “As it turns out, Wake Up Dead Man shares its title with a 1997 U2 song off their album Pop.” And Johnson adds, “Pop is a very underrated album, and that song is very right for the title. But I’ve had ‘Wake Up Dead Man’ in my head for a long while, and I first heard the phrase in American folk music.” Netflix teases that you should “listen closely” for any clues about the Knives Out movie to come.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery‘s Plotbenoit blanc from Knives out 2, Daniel Craig will return in Knives out 3Netflix

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery does not have an official synopsis, but we do have some early clues about what to expect from it. Johnson’s announcement of the film included commentary about how much he loves the malleability of whodunits. Combined with calling it Benoit Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet,” and everything points towards the darkest entry in the franchise yet.

The title and its accompanying font also suggest the film will have something to do with pirates. (Though we can’t rule out the film is about U2. Hopefully The Edge is safe either way.)

Does that mean a good old-fashioned treasure hunt gone wrong? A setting somewhere in the Caribbean? Arr, until we be getting something more official, wese can let our imaginations run wild like the sea. (Sorry.)

For the third time, Rian Johnson is directing his own script in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. He’s also producing the film with his T-Street Pictures partner Ram Bergman.

The film officially wrapped August 17, 2024.

On August 17, 2024, Johnson shared an image of a graveyard with a sign that says “Please be mindful of the graves” to say filming had wrapped.

Johnson calls the shoot a “VERY special experience” and that he can’t wait to “put this thing together and show you all what we’ve got.” Well we certainly can’t wait either! Let’s go, donut holes!

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery‘s Release DateDaniel Craig as Benoit Blanc from Wake Up Dead Man a Knives Out mysteryNetflix

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will come to Netflix in 2025. It will also hopefully also come theaters, and for a longer run than its predecessor.)

The movie does not have an official release day yet; however, the first two installments have Thanksgiving weekend releases. Knives Out arrived in theaters Thanksgiving weekend on November 27, 2019. After some film festival screenings, Glass Onion came to theaters for a brief run on Thanksgiving weekend, November 23, 2022. It then started streaming on Netflix, Wake Up Dead Man‘s ultimate home, on December 23.

If Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery follows a similar release schedule, we should expect to see it on the big screen on November 26, 2025. And we didn’t even need to be Benoit Blanc to figure that out. For now, Netflix has confirmed a release date window of “Fall 2025.”

Epic Universe’s Stardust Racers Is THE BEST Roller Coaster Ever

Universal’s Epic Universe pledges to put the “park” back in theme park, especially in its most glowing jewel, the world of Celestial Park. This original concept land in Epic Universe features sprawling fields of flowers, graceful fountains, elegant statuary, and gorgeous art nouveau-inspired creations, including bridges, buildings, stained glass windows, and more, right out of our most fanciful daydreams. It’s so aesthetic that it (literally) brought me to tears. But living in Celestial Park is (one of) the most incredible feats of engineering that has ever soared to life in any theme park, and that is the iconic Stardust Racers coaster.

Stardust Racers is definitely the biggest thrill you can find in Universal Epic Universe, but it also might just be one of the greatest rides to ever exist. And that’s because even though the idea of a roller coaster, which brings to mind metal tracks, daring feats of machinery, and blood-curdling screams, seems in direct odds with the idea of a park, which evokes gentle breezes, languid afternoons, and naps in the sun, Stardust Racers somehow manages to elicit both at once. It’s this feat, this combination of exhilaration and elegance, that makes Universal Epic Universe’s Stardust Racers the best roller coaster ever.

— Rotem Rusak (@Moondancer1626) May 29, 2025

A beautiful roller coaster. How often is that phrase said? Not very. But prepare for it to enter your vocabulary after you ride on Stardust Racers. Don’t get me wrong; Stardust Racers will make you scream in terror, but it will look amazing doing it. Your wonder at this roller coaster’s beauty might just steal your breath away more thoroughly than its mental mind games as it swerves you very close to another track of screaming people, its jaw-droppingly high hills, which will see gravity disappearing as you lift from your seat, or its intense accelerations, there’s one and then ANOTHER (bold and caps, well deserved).

Universal Epic Universe Stardust Racers coaster hillCoaster Crusader

Because at its heart, Stardust Racers still belongs to Celestial Park and no other land, and that means “park” is just as important as “theme park.” Obviously, Stardust Racers doesn’t immediately inspire the overt vision of a park, it doesn’t harken to halcyon summer picnics or slow splashes of water. But a park can evoke more than just that. When we think about a park, ideas of loveliness also emerge, of twining organic shapes, and the welcome respite of stepping into nature’s vast world. And those visions, the coaster brings to life in spades.

Universal Epic Universe Stardust Racers coaster yellow and greenCoaster Crusader

Even from a distance, you can see the beautiful shape of Stardust Racers curving into the heavens when you’re in Universal Epic Universe. In the daytime, the coaster’s 5,000 feet of track, split into two parallel routes, twine together like a bramble of vines, painted in the most delicate pastel shades of green and yellow. And in the night, the tracks melt into the darkness of the sky, playing host to a dazzling comet trail of light and color that is the dual cars of Stardust Racers. Around these delicate curves and loops sits a water feature that raises fine mist into the air, an idyllic sight at any hour.

Universal Epic Universe Stardust Racers coaster trackCoaster Crusader

When we consider, for instance, the track of Stardust Coasters juxtaposed against the menacing black behemoth that is the VelociCoaster, which lives in Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure, the two couldn’t feel more different. While the VelociCoaster’s very presence promises you will shriek your guts out, Stardust Racers invites you gently in to be part of something amazing. Both are iconic, but the uniqueness of the latter really touches my heart. One simply doesn’t expect a terrifying roller coaster to have so much nuance, but this one does.

Universal Epic Universe Stardust Racers coaster signCoaster Crusader

As you near Stardust Racers itself, its entrance is a set of curving Art Nouveau arches. Its own mini-portal transports you into the ride, with the words, “Just lose yourself among the stars and dance upon the edge of night. You’ll catch a comet in its flight.” YES. Stardust Racers did just read you a romantic poem, be still my beating heart.

Universal Epic Universe Stardust Coaster entranceNerdist

That’s not to even begin to talk about the ride vehicle that awaits you as you finally get up to the front of the line. (I suggest you sit in the front seat if you’re able, front, yellow, that’s my pick.) Stardust Racers’ coaster car is truly a work of art. It’s a steampunk fantasy formed to look like an old-fashioned car, of sorts, drenched in the colors of nebulas, jewel purple into cerulean into a gleaming garnet, all decorated with accents of rich gold and dotted with a million stars that actually light up at night. On the back of each car, “powering” it is a replica of Back to the Future‘s flux capacitor. So it’s a clever and nerdy ride as well. Every time I saw these gorgeous creations pull up to the riders, my breath caught in my throat. (I do not, I swear, exaggerate.)

Stardust Racers coaster ride vehicleCoaster Crusader

Then, of course, there’s the ride itself. Yes, it is scary. You will scream. Your heart will drop to your stomach. You’ll go 62 mph on inversions, crisscrosses, hills, and upside-downs. But, in the middle of all of that, you’ll blink and find that you’ve been transported to someplace magical. Celestial Park has a deep vein of Greek mythology running through it, with statues of gods and goddesses across the land, and being on Stardust Racers is like a communion with these arcane figures. As the ride takes you 133 feet up into the air, you’re truly brought into the heavens. The warm sun blazes on your skin, the wind rushes through your hair, and gorgeous, ethereal music plays in the speakers around your ears. In a word, I might describe it as soaring. I might muse that it manifests freedom.

Universal Epic Universe Stardust Racers coaster in motionCoaster Crusader

If you ride in the midday hour, you can see the whole park from your vantage point, stretching around you in all its perfectly designed glory. At dusk, there’s no better view of the sunset, painting the skies in colors that match the ride around you. And, at night… Oh, at night, Stardust Racers turns into a literal comet. The ride has no external lighting, and so the track disappears from view. What you can see are the lights of your own ride vehicle, but most uniquely, the rainbow orbs resonating from the second car that runs the race with you. This means that you don’t just get to enjoy the superb light show that is Stardust Racers from the ground, but can actually live it while you ride the ride. It’s too beautiful for words, so you can experience a microcosm of it below.

— Rotem Rusak (@Moondancer1626) May 29, 2025

How many roller coasters can claim they made your heart stop not only with fright, but also with sheer wonder? Made you cry, not just with shock but with overwhelming beauty? Not many. But when you leave Stardust Racers, your body feels light, like it’s floating, like you’ve become one with the universe, the very thread of nature itself, and is that not, truly, what the idea of a park should bring to life? Universal Epic Universe’s Stardust Racers, for my money, is the best roller coaster out there. And if it wasn’t already clear, I think you should ride it at least once in your lifetime.

Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern Character in SUPERMAN Was Inspired by One of the Golden Girls

Nathan Fillion was long rumored to play Green Lantern in live-action, thanks to his many animated appearances as Hal Jordan. But in James Gunn’s Superman, he’s actually going to be playing a different member of the Green Lantern Corps, hot-headed jerk Guy Gardner. Not only will Fillion appear as Guy in Superman, he’ll reprise the role in the upcoming Lanterns series, and Peacemaker season two as well. So we’re about to get a lot of Guy on our screens. On a recent DC Studios Showcase podcast (via Comic Book), Fillion revealed his inspiration for playing Guy. And it comes from an unlikely source — Sophia Petrillo from The Golden Girls, played by the great Estelle Getty. Here’s what he had to say:

You know, I took my inspiration from the oldest cast member from Golden Girls, where she just, whatever she wanted to say, just there was no filter. She just said it. Thank you, Estelle Getty. Thank you. Just whatever it is, there it is, he’s just gonna say it. Part of his origin was he was at one point hit by a bus, and was in a coma. So I just say that’s the thing that flipped the switch. That’s the thing that caused a little bit of brain damage. Now he’s just…off a little bit.

(Left) Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern in Superman (Right) The cast of The Golden Girls. DC Studios/Touchstone Television

At first, it may seem like a weird comparison. But the more we think about it, the more it makes sense. Everyone who ever watched The Golden Girls loves Sophia, but she makes rude comments and has no tact. But we all love her anyway. So yes, a lot like Guy. We can see where the former Firefly and Castle star made the connection. But does that make his Justice Gang cohorts Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, and Metamorpho into Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose? We kind of hope so.

We also appreciate that Fillion is drawing from the comic book origins of Guy Gardner for inspiration. In his original appearances, he was as stalwart and polite as any Green Lantern from Earth. But a head injury caused a personality shift, and that’s the version who became a fan-favorite, as the insufferable jerk from Justice League International. We can’t wait to see how his version of Guy plays against Superman, and traditional Lanterns like Hal Jordan and John Stewart. We’re ready for our Guy Gardner renaissance.

Is Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Legacy of Thor’ Video Hinting at an AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Farewell?

It’s been well over a decade since Chris Hemsworth first wielded the mighty hammer Mjölnir in Marvel Studios’ original Thor. Since then, he’s been in three sequels and four Avengers films. Soon, he’ll film his scenes for Avengers: Doomsday. Hemsworth just posted a video looking back at his time as the God of Thunder, and thanking the fans for all their support and love for Thor. The video from his YouTube channel, titled “Thank You! The Legacy of Thor,” sure makes it sound like Avengers: Doomsday will be Hemsworth’s last time as the Asgardian Avenger. But is it all just misdirection? You can watch the full video right here:

Along with the video, Chris Hemsworth left this message for his fans:

Playing Thor has been one of the greatest honors of my life. For the last 15 years I’ve held Mjölnir and then Stormbreaker as the God of Thunder, but what made it truly special… was sharing it with all of you. Your passion, your cheers, and your love for this character have meant everything to me. Thank you for making my journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe unforgettable… Next up, Doomsday!

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston as Thor and Loki in full costumeMarvel Studios

Of course, this could all be misdirection to create extra hype for Avengers: Doomsday. It’s already a big deal, perhaps the biggest movie ever made, so it’s not like it needs the extra push. But if fans think it’s the movie where Thor dies, all of that creates an extra “must-see” factor. But we would be genuinely surprised if he didn’t appear in Secret Wars too, although that one feels like a more likely final Hemsworth appearance as Thor.

After all, we still need that Easter egg between Wade and the Odinson from Deadpool & Wolverine to pay off. Of course, maybe Marvel is just trolling us and this week they will announce a fifth Thor movie. But if this is indeed the end for Hemsworth’s Thor, it’s been a truly memorable ride.
