AGATHA ALL ALONG Midseason Trailer Confirms Teen’s Identity and Takes Us Back to the Hex
Episode five of Agatha All Along was quite a doozy. The coven’s next big adventure on the Witches’ Road had them running from the Salem Seven and straight into the next trial. This one was for Agatha, as they had to use a Ouija board to commune with the dead. There, we see Agatha possessed by her mother before draining the power from poor Alice, who tried to save her life. She truly deserved a better outcome after such a tragic story. But the biggest reveal in this episode of Agatha All Along is that Joe Locke’s Teen character is indeed Wiccan, the son of Wanda Maximoff.
And this is specifically Billy Maximoff, which we get a hint at the end of the episode as a Billie Eilish song plays over the credits. An Agatha All Along midseason trailer confirms this with Agatha asking Billy what he wants at the end of the Witches Road. We see a glimpse of him outside of Wanda’s hex as he gets into a car accident, which suggests that Wanda’s Hex son Billy could have gotten his consciousness transferred into this kid’s body somehow. We will find out more in future episodes of the series.
Towards the end, Teen is incredibly upset that Agatha took Alice’s power and killed her. They confront each other as they continue down the road. She says that her draining Alice wasn’t intentional (not so sure anyone believes that) and then begins to taunt Teen a bit after he questions why being a witch is all about taking from others, as Agatha does. She tells him that he’s just like his mother, and he is not happy at all about this. It seems that Agatha knows exactly who he is, but assumes he is not powerful enough to do anything.

Teen reveals himself to be Wiccan, the son of the Scarlet Witch, and mind controls Jen and Lilia to dump Agatha into the sinking mud. Wiccan then blasts them into the mud before a blue crown similar to Wanda’s materializes on his head. This isn’t too shocking for most people but it will still be interesting to see where the show goes next. How does Teen even exist? Why did he wait three years for this revenge plan? What does he want besides getting revenge against his mom’s enemy? Perhaps he’s trying to resurrect his mom. The answers are coming soon in Agatha All Along. Meanwhile, we want to get our hands on a cute Wiccan Funko! Pop.

Jordan Peele Wants to Keep Us in ‘Painful Suspense’ Over His New Film Coming in October 2026
Jordan Peele is not only a master of horror but also a master of enigma. The horror director and producer caught many fans attention with Us, Get Out, and Nope. And, he still has us in his hooks with Him, a football-centric film he’s producing starring Marlon Wayans. That film is set to hit theaters in September 2025 but it seems there’s yet another Jordan Peele project on the rise. We know absolutely nothing about it except one thing: It’s coming just in time for Halloween 2026.
And, in classic Peele fashion, he will not reveal a single detail about it until he is good and damn ready. Jimmy Fallon tried in a recent interview and didn’t get very far. Fallon questioned Jordan Peele about his 2026 movie and tried to get him to reveal something about its title, cast, premise, or if it had already been filmed. Peele stayed jovial yet mum about it, saying “Yes! Let the mystery swirl. You’re not getting anything out of me tonight, Jimmy! What could it be? Where could it be? Who could it be?… I’m gonna keep everybody in a painful suspense. Trust me, it’ll pay off…”
Jordan Peele posted a message on X (forever Twitter in our hearts) with a photo that has nothing but the date October 23, 2026. Maybe it will be called Her…

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming 2026 Jordan Peele film is on Universal Pictures upcoming slate. There is no title nor any details but fans are speculating quite a bit already. Is it Candyman 2? Maybe. He’s known for promoting all things under Monkeypaw Production’s umbrella, whether he is directing it or not.

Maybe it’s a quirky Marvel film or The People Under the Stairs remake that is supposed to be in early stages of development. Who knows. We will have to wait a long time and see what Jordan Peele has coming our way with this mysterious 2026 movie.

LILO & STITCH Live-Action Movie Sets 2025 Release Date
Get ready to welcome your favorite blue alien back to the screen. As we learned in 2018, Disney is making a live-action version of its 2002 animated film Lilo & Stitch. The story follows the alien Stitch as he crashes on Earth and befriends Lilo, an orphan. It’s the kind of movie that makes you laugh out loud before making you cry. This is why it’s perfect that Disney has hired Marcel the Shell with Shoes On director Dean Fleischer-Camp to helm the live-action Lilo & Stitch. Additionally, Lilo & Stitch set its release date for May 23, 2025.
The movie found its lead in newcomer Maia Kealoha. Kealoha will star as Lilo in the movie. Disney has also shared our first look at live-action Stitch. Take a look below.
@disneystudiosExperiment 626 has entered the chat! The live-action #LiloAndStitch is coming only to theaters in Summer 2025!
♬ original sound – Disney Studios – Disney Studios
In addition, Sydney Elizabeth Agudong has been cast as Nani, Courtney B. Vance has been cast as Cobra Bubbles, and Kaipot Dudoit will play David Kawena. A couple of new characters will also appear in the movie. Billy Magnussen and Zach Galifianakis have also come aboard the film. Finally, it seems likely that Chris Sanders, the original voice of Stitch, will also return for the live-action movie.

Nerdist confirmed only the directorial news in an interview with Fleischer-Camp. Fleischer-Camp couldn’t share any further details about the upcoming live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, but he did confirm his involvement. He noted, “I’ve been pitching it on it for months. I love that movie so much. I will work my ass off to get it right and to make a great live-action movie out of it.”

Fleischer-Camp told me how much he loves Stitch’s line at the end of the movie, “This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It’s little, and broken, but still good.” He calls it, “One of the most profound, moving lines in the history of cinema.” Earlier reports connected Jon M. Chu to the project, but the reports never panned out.
Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois wrote and directed the animated movie about six-year-old Lilo, her teenage sister Nani, and the blue alien Lilo named Stitch. We hope to see all of our favorite characters in the film. I especially can’t wait to see who they cast as Cobra Bubbles.
And if you’d like to see why Fleischer-Camp is the perfect choice for live-action Lilo & Stitch, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On is now available to watch.

Who Is Magpie, the Batman Villain Who Appears in THE PENGUIN? Her DC Comics History, Explained
So far, HBO’s The Penguin doesn’t have a ton of references to Batman or larger DC Comics lore. In fact, you could know next to nothing about Batman and enjoy this show as a pure crime drama series. But in episode four, which features extensive flashbacks to Sofia Falcone’s time in Arkham Asylum, we discovered that her cell neighbor was a woman calling herself “Magpie,” played by actress Marié Botha. This character is actually a deep-cut villain from the comics. Here’s the history of a character that never made it past D-list, yet somehow keeps popping up in non-comics media.
Magpie Debuts in the ’80s, Fighting Both Batman and Superman
Created by writer/artist John Byrne, Magpie first appeared in Man of Steel #3 in 1986. This series was the post-Crisis on Infinite Earths reboot of Superman’s backstory and origins. The third issue told the story of Superman and Batman’s very first meeting in this new continuity. Superman flies to Gotham City to apprehend the Batman whom he views as a dangerous vigilante. But the two end up working together to take down a new jewel thief in town who goes by the codename Magpie. In traditional Bat-villain fashion, Magpie is not playing with a full deck of cards.
Magpie, who has an extremely ‘80s New Wave design, was born Margeret “Maggie” Pye. In the classic Batman tradition, Magpie is a jewel thief who only steals jewels named after birds. She would then replace them with booby-trapped replicas, most of which killed whoever stumbled onto them. Maggie was originally a museum curator, but she eventually went insane, not able to handle being surrounded by shiny beautiful things she could never possess. She was the first villain apprehended by both Superman and Batman working together.

Magpie next appeared in Batman #401, which came out a mere few months before Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One. She made a handful of appearances over the next few years, never quite gaining traction as a major member of Batman’s rogues gallery. It probably had to do with how extremely ‘80s her costume design was, causing her to become dated almost right away. A few times over the next few years, she turned up as Poison Ivy’s cellmate in Arkham Asylum. She eventually died, but returned as a zombie-like Black Lantern in the event series Blackest Night.
Magpie Gets Reimagined For DC Comics’ New 52 Reboot
When DC rebooted their universe in 2011’s New 52, Magpie re-emerged once again. This new version of Magpie had a different costume design. Yet she still adhered to the same basic obsessions as her counterpart from the previous universe. She fought the Flash, and a few other DC villains besides Batman. Sadly, she also died like her predecessor did in the previous timeline. This time, she met her end as a member of the infamous Suicide Squad.
Magpie in Beware the Batman and Gotham
Although never appearing in Batman: The Animated Series or The Batman, she did appear in the short-lived cartoon series Beware the Batman. There, her real name was Margaret Sorrow, and her Magpie identity was part of a split personality. Much like her fellow Gotham jewel thief Catwoman, she develops quite a crush on Batman. Unlike with Catwoman, however, Batman does not reciprocate her feelings. She later appeared in the TV series Gotham, also inspired by her New 52 comic book counterpart.
Magpie in The Penguin
In The Penguin, the character introduces herself to Sofia Falcone in the cell next to her as Magpie. Marié Botha plays the character in your stereotypical looney bin, little girl voice. None of her proclivities towards kleptomania or a prior criminal career get a mentioned. She tries to befriend Sofia and convince her to take the drugs they’re prescribing. After months of torture, a now mentally broken Sofia begins to suspect that Magpie is spying on her. She murders her in cold blood in the Arkham mess hall, by slamming her head against a table. Sadly, if you were hoping Magpie would cameo in The Batman – Part II, this seems to have dashed any hopes. Once again, this D-list villain just can’t make it into the big leagues.

New DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Deleted Scene Shows Peter In Love
This is what we have all been waiting for. Deadpool & Wolverine was great, but do not get it twisted: Peter was everything. He needed more screen time to showcase more of his adorable, lovable, nerdy self. And a new deleted scene with Peter Wisdom gives us exactly that. YAY, more Peter!!
In the deleted scene, named Daddy’s in Love, Peter is walking through a hallway with a character from the show, Loki. B-15, played by Wunmi Mosaku, may just help Peter find the love he has been waiting for. You’ll have to watch the rest to see precisely what happens, but I will say Peter exclaims the title of the deleted scene.
In the film, Peter is a car salesman along with Wade Wilson, AKA Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds. Rob Delaney plays him, best known for his role as Rob Norris in the television show Catastrophe. At the end of Deadpool 2, Peter’s character dies, along with other X-Force members, but in a post-credits scene, Deadpool uses time travel to save him.
Deadpool & Wolverine recently had its digital release on platforms like Prime Video, Fandango, and Apple TV on Oct. 1. To promote the upcoming physical release of Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel Studios has been revealing deleted scenes that will be present as bonus content in the physical releases. Daddy’s in Love joins the previously released deleted scene Elevator Ride.

The film’s physical release is slated for later this month, on Oct. 22. The film will come with featurettes like the director’s commentary and gag reels. Physical releases will be in 4K UHD Blu-ray and come in two special edition Steelbooks. One is a Deadpool version, and the other is a Wolverine version.
Deadpool & Wolverine has grossed over $1.33 billion since its theatrical release in late July, making it the second top-grossing film of the year globally behind Disney Pixar’s Inside Out 2.

Prime Video Now Allows Apple TV+ as Add-On
As subscription bundling gets more frequent, another has joined the conversation. Tech companies Apple and Amazon’s streaming services have partnered to have Apple TV+ as a subscription add-on to Amazon Prime Video for $9.99, starting later this month.

The subscription add-on’s price is the same as Apple TV’s regular price for using their service as a standalone product. However, the service is not alone in opting to be on the platform as an add-on. Amazon Prime Video currently offers over 100 different subscription add-ons, such as Sony-owned anime streaming service Crunchyroll, Art-house film streamer Mubi, and documentary programming service Curiosity Stream.
“Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering a wide selection of premium programming. As we continue to expand our offering and make it easy for customers to personalize their streaming experience directly in one app, we are proud to welcome Apple TV+ and its popular and critically acclaimed shows, films and events to Prime Video,” Mike Hopkins, SVP and Head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, said while announcing the deal.
Having AppleTV+ join Amazon Prime as an add-on service at the same price as the service on its own is part of Amazon’s larger strategy. Prime Video is consolidating as many streaming services as possible on its platform so customers have all their services in one place and on one bill.
“We want to make Apple TV+ and its award-winning library of series and films from the world’s greatest storytellers available to as many viewers as possible,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of services, in a statement. “We’re thrilled that Prime Video will now offer Apple TV+, giving viewers an incredible breadth of viewing options.”
Amazon will take a certain amount of the subscription revenue from Apple TV+, as it does for all additional services offered on Prime Video, but they do not disclose the terms or how much.

FREAKIER FRIDAY Sets a 2025 Release Date
If you were a teenager in the 2000s, then you surely remember the great Disney masterpiece Freaky Friday. Who can forget the hilariousness of a mom and daughter who end up switching bodies thanks to a fortune cookie? It has somehow been 20 years since we saw Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as Tess and Anna, but they are reportedly reprising those roles in a Freaky Friday sequel titled Freakier Friday. According to The Hollywood Reporter, both stars are ready for more body-swapping adventures, with Elyse Hollander penning the script and Nisha Ganatra set to direct.
Disney recently announced that Freakier Friday will hit theaters on August 8, 2025.
TGIF. 😱 😱

#FreakierFriday arrives in theaters August 8, 2025! pic.twitter.com/a7m0itR9Jv

For now, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are expected to reprise their roles in Freakier Friday. Additionally, Variety reveals that Julia Butters has joined the Freaky Friday sequel in an unknown role. But given what we know about the movie so far, we might speculate she’ll play the daughter or future stepdaughter of Lohan’s Anna.
Additionally, Deadline reports that Manny Jacinto is is reportedly in talks to join the movie. We are 100% pro this casting.
More Updates on Freakier FridayLohan and Curtis seemed to confirm news of the movie with a celebratory Instagram post.
Additionally, Lohan herself confirmed during an Andy Cohen interview that the sequel is happening. She remained mum about any production timelines but said that both she and Curtis were excited about a Freaky Friday sequel.
What Will Freakier Friday Be About? So, what will this movie be about? Well, Jamie Lee Curtis wants her co-star to be a sexy grandma. In an interview with The View, which we learned about via Deadline, Curtis said, “Let me be the grandma, let me be the old grandma who switches places, so then Lindsay gets to be the sexy grandma who’s still happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon… I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today. I want to be a helicopter parent in today’s world.” We’d love to see it.
Additionally, Entertainment Weekly reveals that newly minted director Nisha Ganatra shared a casting call on her social media for the movie. The casting call revealed that Anna Coleman (Lohan) now has a daughter and that she’s apparently getting married to a man who also has a daughter. Of course, Tess (Curtis) is still involved. Whatever swap is coming up for our favorite ladies, it seems like four people might be included this time.

Of course, there are no confirmed details about the Freaky Friday sequel at this time. But it isn’t shocking that this reunion is happening. During a retrospective interview, both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan told The New York Times that they were open to a Freaky Friday sequel. And we have seen the actresses in very recent projects, too. Curtis came back as Laurie Strode once again in Halloween Ends while Lohan is back in the spotlight after Falling for Christmas, a very cute Netflix rom-com.
We’re still not ruling out Anna’s daughter swapping places with her while Tess tries to help them figure it all out. No matter what the plot is, we are totally down for a Freaky Friday sequel.

These Repainted Halloween Masks Look Incredibly Life-Like
We all know those random plastic masks you can buy at the store are not feats of design. Also, they always smell kind of weird. The masks you get in those Halloween stores somehow completely disappear as soon as October 31 concludes, are always inaccurate, and look slightly off. However, in this YouTube video, Steven Richter transforms those cheap plastic masks into a realistic version through airbrushing and spray painting.
In the video above, Richter revamps five different masks from a range of properties, including Carnage, Venom, Skeletor, Wolverine, and Freddy Fazbear. Through different techniques like spray painting, airbrushing, using extra plastic, and taping on fabrics, Richter is able to take your average Spirit Halloween mask to the next level. Seriously, these could be used on a film set.

In this video, he recreates three different Marvel Comics characters: Venom, Carnage, and Wolverine. For Venom and Carnage, Richter relies on airbrushing to add a lot more shading and dimension to the mask’s features. This is especially evident in the mouths of Venom and Carnage. For Wolverine, Richter started off by using isopropyl alcohol on the mask to remove any artificial dirt. Then, using a heated engraver, the artist made scratches and busted up the mask for a more movie-accurate look.

Richter also creates a mask for Skeletor, the main antagonist in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe television series. The mask is made using a generic skeleton mask, which he spray paints green. Then, he adds a purple cloth over it to match Skeletor’s.

Richter also modifies a Freddy Fazbear Halloween mask. It is the bear from my nightmares… and the horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s. He puts a layer of fuzzy fabric over the entire mask. This makes it look like fur straight from the suit in the game. Additionally, for the eyes, Richter cuts table tennis balls and uses extra plastic to make them look more realistic.

Richter’s eponymous YouTube channel is full of many more cool videos showing off his amazing artistry in relation to props and sculptures, including a timelapse of sculpting Godzilla from Godzilla vs. Kong.

BALDUR’S GATE 3 Characters Become Official DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Minis
WizKids has turned Baldur’s Gate 3 characters into D&D mini figurines. The release includes main characters from the game, such as Astarion, Shadowheart, Karlach, Gale, Wyll, Lae’zel, and Withers. All seven characters come in D&D Icons of the Realm: Baldur’s Gate 3 Character Boxed set.

The miniature figures are pre-painted and housed in non-blind windowed packaging. It is currently available for preorder on the WizKids website for $49.99. The company will ship out the set in the first quarter of 2025.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing video game that is based on the fantasy tabletop gameplay of D&D. Six of the premade characters that come in the box set are options to play as in the game. Astarion, an elf vampire rogue; Shadowheart, a half-elf cleric; Karlach, a tiefling barbarian; Gale, a human wizard; Wyll, a human warlock; Lae’zel, a githyanki fighter. The seventh character in the set is Withers, who is not a playable character but instead a mysterious undead entity who supports you throughout the day.

Four other characters who can join your party in the game do not appear in this set. Minsc, a human with a hamster sidekick; Minthara, a drow paladin; Jaheira, a half-elf druid; and Halsin, a wood elf druid. However, their exclusion in this set paves the way for WizKids to release another set with more characters in the future.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available to play on Windows, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE Series in Development at Netflix
There are some stories that will continue to get adaptations from now until the literal world ends. One of them is Pride and Prejudice, the Jane Austen novel that’s been adapted for many film, television, and theater productions. According to Variety, Netflix now has a Pride and Prejudice series in development with Everything I Know About Love author Dolly Alderton to pen the script.

Predictably, there’s no further information about the Netflix Pride and Prejudice series. It is not greenlit and there are no cast members associated with the project. Honestly, I don’t believe that there’s anything that can top the 2005 film with Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfayden. But maybe this one will be enjoyable. Funnily enough, I enjoyed Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta on Lifetime, but that’s because Jackee Harry is a gem.
If it does come to Netflix, fans better hope that it is a miniseries. The streaming service is becoming more known for cancelling shows after only one season that they are for content that boasts longevity. We will see what happens.
