Because it’s 5 days until London > Dijon > Lyon > Lisbon > Amsterdam > Bangkok > Saigon (& because I’ve a shit ton of author copies) I’m leaving Thirst on various London transport for folk to find this week. Could not be more chuffed to be part of the International Literary Showcase
I was so bloody delighted when I discovered I’d been selected. I’m one of 40 British writers selected for the International Literary Showcase organised by the, always excellent, Writers’ Centre Norwich and British Council. It exists to:
Discover exciting British writers and organisations, discuss industry best practice and debate the latest trends in a growing online space designed for everyone who works in literature.

Here’s the database of excellent writers taking part. Sam Ruddock called it ‘the TeamGB of literature’ which is a pretty damn good gang to be part of I reckon…Here’s a little video about it all.
So, hurrah and thank you and here’s to showcasing some great words and stories and joining the global conversation…

At the toy train in Kangra for my 5 hr trip to Pathankott yellow birds & butterflies flying about, sari hems jingling…my ticket was 28p & it looks set to be extraordinarily charming/hot/busy train ride…father just took a picture of me with his wife & baby & then I waved the family off.
