New Romance Short!

I haven't jumped off the Mobster band-wagon, but have added short romance stories to my repertoire. This one's the start of a new series:

http://www.amazon.com/Off-Dock-Young-...

Frannie and David Young have been married over twenty years, have two kids, busy jobs, a house in the suburbs and a dog named Max. To keep the romance alive in their relationship, they plan a “date” twice a month. Their block of time together includes very few rules, no kids or dogs, but requires an open mind. Frannie and David switch off planning dates, depending on the NFL’s schedule and how the planets are aligned that particular month.

In this first outing of a new short story series by Beth Mathison, it's David's week to choose and the couple is off on a fishing trip. When the fish refuse to bite, will the couple find anything to talk about to fill the silence? Or, will the couple find themselves falling back in love hook, line and sinker?

Mobster's in Indiana

A library in Indiana bought a copy of "A Mobster's Mother's Day Brunch" for their e-shelves.

So, now the Mobster short stories can be found in the National Library of Singapore, Canada, and Indiana.

Sometimes I wonder what it all means... :-)

Happy Mother's Day

The most hilariously dysfunctional crime family returns for their fourth outing in this short story series.

To observe Mother's Day, Jeremy brings his best girl Carla to brunch at Pawleski's Supper Club. Harry and Charlie have provided the unique contraband menu that has conveniently "fallen off" of various trucks. The mothers of all the young kids have disappeared for the day, leaving an olive-throwing gang of kids in the club's banquet room. And Aunt Shirley tries to keep the peace between the kids' table and the grown-ups while ensuring the mimosas keep flowing.

Can Jeremy and Carla's relationship and cupcake business survive another untraditional holiday? Or will the common bond of living outside their families and trying to avoid "family business" make their relationship even stronger?
