Death’s Awakening!!!!!

It’s here! Death’s Awakening is on sale!

This is so epic for me, you guys. I have wanted to write a zombie apocalypse story that had witches and magic for FOREVER. I first started this book for NaNo WriMo back in 2009. It was my first Young Adult novel, and I immediately knew this is where my voice really fit.

This is the only novel I ever pitched to an agent. At the time, I was devastated that she passed on it, but now, I know this was just the right path for me. I am so happy to finally get t...

My 1st Story

Stories matter! Having a safe place to be creative and expand your mind and your inner world is incredibly important. NaNo WriMo (National Novel Writing Month) has been a very important part of my life – both in my writing journey and in my personal journey. I’ve met some of my best friends and written some of my most powerful stories during the month of November.

As part of their June fundraiser, The Office of Letters & Light (aka, the folks who run NaNo WriMo) has been asking authors to shar...

COVER REVEAL: Wreckless by Bria Quinlan

To say I’m excited about this YA contemporary romance is an understatement!!! This book sounds so amazing and I can’t wait to read it! Just about 1 week left to go until it releases, and I’m happy to be able to share this amazing cover.

How gorgeous is this cover??!! So amazing. It was done by the same cover artist who did my newest release, The Trouble With Goodbye – Sarah Hansen at Okay Creations.

Here’s what WRECKLESS is all about:

Wreckless…Where obsession and rebellion collide.

New Release – The Trouble With Goodbye

I’m so excited to share that this week, my first New Adult contemporary romance, THE TROUBLE WITH GOODBYE, was released! I know I’ve been teasing and talking about it already a few times, but for anyone who missed it, here is what the book is about:

Two years ago, Leigh Anne Davis shocked everyone in tiny Fairhope, Georgia when she broke up with her wealthy boyfriend to attend an Ivy League university a thousand miles away. At school, she finds a happiness and independence she’s never known.

Un...

Final Teaser

With just one day left to go before the release of my New Adult contemporary romance, I thought it would be good to have one last teaser. I’ll post both an image teaser like I’ve been doing and a full excerpt from the book.

Excerpt:

I want to ask if I’ll see him again, but now that the sun is coming up and reality is sinking back in, I’m confused and torn in two directions. I really like him, but he doesn’t need for me to drag him into my mess. And the closer I get to someone new, the harder it...

My New Look

As you can see, I’ve made a couple of changes around here! I didn’t change too much, but since my other headers and signatures here on my website were all about Peachville, I decided it was time to get something new up. My new Logo and design!

Of course, this doesn’t mean I’m abandoning Peachville, haha. The Peachville High Demons series will forever and always be my first series and will be close to my heart. PLUS, there’s the spin-off series in Lea’s POV coming in 2014!!

However, since my new...

5 More Days!!!

It’s only 5 days until the release of THE TROUBLE WITH GOODBYE, my first New Adult contemporary romance novel!! I have never been so excited or nervous about a book release in my life.

This book is very different from anything I’ve ever written before. No magic. No spells or witches or demons (which I do love!). Just real life. Real love. Real struggle. I put my heart and soul into this book and sincerely hope you all connect with it and respond to it.

Here is another short teaser from near the...

Worst Write-A-Palooza Ever!

If any of you were checking my word meter over the past week, you’ve seen that my write-a-palooza beach trip didn’t exactly go as planned. To say the least!

I was so excited about this trip. Being a stay-at-home-mom and also trying to write two books at once is no easy task, but the thought of five days at the beach with beautiful weather and a husband willing to take on extra baby duty to help give me time to write sounded AMAZING. I’ve seriously been looking forward to this for months.

Then b...

WRITE-A-PALOOZA!!!! Myrtle Beach Spring Edition

It’s that time again for me! I get this itch for the beach every so often, and I’m incredibly lucky and grateful that I only live a short drive away from the beautiful beaches on the Atlantic coast. Myrtle Beach, SC here I come!!!!

Here WE come, actually. I’ll be heading there on Saturday with my little family of three. We have a two bedroom oceanfront condo, and I can’t wait! The weather is supposed to be gorgeous, warm and sunny. Exactly what I need right now, let me tell you.

But this isn’t...
