Movie Mayhem – Mr. Peabody & Sherman
I’m too young to remember Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends, the children’s show from which Mr. Peabody and Sherman were conceived, and though I did see a few reruns of the show when I was a kid, it’s still been quite a long time, thus I have very little to no recollection of the original […]

Bridgette & Jared’s Wedding Video on YouTube
It has come to my attention that the videos for the Lasting Memories video of Bridgette and Jared’s wedding that are posted on my website aren’t being very kind to a lot of people. So, I’ve made a correction and you can now view the video on YouTube! If you were one of the unlucky […]

Wedding Video – Bridgette & Jared
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been extremely busy building my first client’s new website (and learning quite a bit in the process), but that hasn’t stopped me from working on — and finishing up — my sister’s wedding video. And wouldn’t you know it, I finished it just in time for her 30th […]

A Raging Fire on AI
At the close of American Idol‘s performance show this week, Jennifer Lopez told the contestants that whoever made it through tonight’s elimination would have to up their game and give power to their performances in the way of that special “wow” moment that’s been lacking so far this season. Fireworks, as Ryan Seacrest summarized quickly […]

A New Author Interview
Back when I was in the middle of the virtual book tour for my novel, In the Light of the Eclipse, I was contacted by a blogger who wanted to know if I would be up to doing an interview for her blog. Of course I said yes (duh). I finished the interview back in […]

Movie Mayhem – Non-Stop
Before taking on the role of a Jedi Master in the first Star Wars prequel, Liam Neeson spent most of his time acting in a variety of dramatic and period pieces, including his Oscar-nominated role in Schindler’s List. After getting a taste for action, though, he started carving out an extremely successful career in a […]

Chaos Movie Awards 2014
The Academy Awards air this Sunday, which means it’s time for me to play prognosticator and attempt to predict who will be floating on top of the world with excitement and who will fake their way through a bevy of congratulations. Now I will say that in years past, I have a horrible record in […]

Movie Mayhem – 3 Days to Kill
With a title like 3 Days To Kill, you’d expect there to be a constant ticking clock device propelling the characters through the plot and keeping us on the edge of our seats. Why, then, are we given notice even before the main titles are presented that the main character, Ethan Renner, is dying of […]

RIP Harold Ramis
Today, we lost a master of comedy. Actor, writer, director and producer Harold Ramis, who got his start on the sketch comedy show SCTV (which also included John Candy, Rick Moranis, Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara), passed away this morning from a rare immune deficiency disease. Ramis was a genius at crafting iconic characters in […]

Can I Just Say…
If the last two nights are any indication, a male performer is definitely going to win American Idol this year. Though not all of the guys were anywhere near great (and I do have my preferences), the overall performance level of the boys far outmatched the girls in almost every way.
