Sam Smith Talks Grammy Wins, Beck, Future Plans
Sam Smith was the biggest winner on music’s biggest night, taking home four of the six Grammy awards for which he was nominated.
Unlike some of the superstars who garnered Grammy glory, Smith stopped by the media room to answer questions from the press—and he could barely contain his joy.
“I can now put the term ‘Grammy award-winning artist’ before things I do, which is the most amazing thing,” he beamed. “What’s beautiful about this record for me is that I didn’t play a character.”

Grammys 2015: Predicting The Big Winners
Beyoncé, Sam Smith and Pharrell Williams might want to consider bringing wheelbarrows to the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night: each act is nominated for six golden gramophones.
In addition to being the most nominated acts of the year, the members of the aforementioned trio are all up for at least one of the big four awards–Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year–and Smith is up for all four.
