What does Eros think of Ares?

You’ll find out in The Good Counselor.

At least a couple chapter bits are from his perspective.

therkalexander:

Seventy years have passed since Elysion was created, and Persephone’s efforts to conceive a child with Hades have been in vain.  But a secret rite on Samothrace might bend the Fates and give them all that they have ever dreamed of, or pave a path of untold suffering.

Chapter 3

The ether rushed around her in a twist of silver and crimson and she emerged in the great atrium of her villa in Thesprotia. It had been abandoned for generations when Persephone had found it, and was said to be filled with the ghosts of the extinguished House of Aeolus.

Persephone knew better.

If any spirits remained, she would have wrenched them from this world already. She herself had sentenced three of that wicked family to Tartarus,  Sisyphus chief among them.

Willows overhung the entire house, shielding it from the main road that led to the sea. It was modest, a short ways from the city of Cichyrus. A copse of bedraggled cypresses marked the path leading to the entrance, and thistles grew thick around the door. To the idly  passing eyes of the outside world, this place was as uninhabited as it was foreboding.

Another wonderful chapter! Poor hades and persephone! They are always getting interrupted, in a way, hahahaha. I absolutely love how much effort you put into the characters and they are one of my favorite parts of your books! I can't wait to see the Underw

You’ll definitely get to see all our friends in the underworld soon. I plan on including it in the free preview.

And thank you so much for your support! Doing this before was difficult. But I was just in an LTR then married and working back then, and doing this while caring for another human being that I have to keep from eating starfish poop (true story) and from standing on sofa armrests, and who eschews naps and loves books and language possibly more than his mama is a whole different ball of wax.

From the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate all your love

Loved this new chapter!! Thank you for spoiling us. But I do have a question about, sorry if it’s dumb

Oh gosh you’re welcome!

Yes, it’s the constellation for Scorpio. In Receiver of Many, Persephone notices that Aidon has the “winter” night sky set in diamonds in his ceiling, so I figured that the summer sky would be more appropriate in the villa in Thesprotia.

And I just have to say that the end scene with Hermes and Aidoneus interacting was probably one of my favorite ones to write, and I wrote it before I wrote the scene between Aidon and Persephone.

I inward giggled every time I re-read or edited and he grabs the scroll out of his hand and Hermes switches from super formal straight into bruh…

You won’t. I plan to include at least one of their scenes in the free preview.

Hi! Sorry if you answered already, but do you have a publishing date for the new book? I'm avoiding the new chapters so i go into the book fresh. kinda wanna see how long ill have to wait haha. thank you for writing these btw! ive read each book at least 4

Yeeeeeah, Is go ahead and read them honestly. It’s going to be a while before I publish The Good Counselor. I don’t have a date yet, and between raising a toddler and getting Receiver of Many and the rest of my books turned into a TV series, it will definitely be a longer wait than the first two.

So my advice is treat yourself, and go read the first three parts. They will comprise chapter 1 of the finished book.

Are these full chapters you’re posting?

They are snippets of chapters.

When I originally posted Receiver of Many, I didn’t post book length chapters. I wrote ahead, figured out whichever 3,000-4,000 word chunk would tell the best story and posted that section

It allowed me to stay on a schedule and to spread out my writing without turning it into sporadic updates.

The full-length chapters of Receiver of Many were posted on Literotica concurrently, and sometimes a few days ahead.

So I’m essentially doing the same thing with The Good Counselor, except that I will have to stop posting chapters at some point as the story will run into too many spoilers for the published book.

Enjoy the latest installment. There are sexy bits.
