this is pretty fuckin’ neat actually, and I wish there was more stuff like this online (a Google search turned up only one other Garfield rough)
Brett Koth and Gary Barker were the artists of the final Garfields for decades (likely the case in this one), but I think that is Davis’s actual art in the rough, which is something you don’t see very often. He’s actually pretty good!
Naturally, the roughs looks better than the overpolished final too, though it’s odd that they were penciled AND inked, isn’t it?

You Suck is updating again and it is now fully-powered by Tumblr. Head to the website to see what I mean. It’s just something I wanted to try.
The main site will work like it always does, pretty much, in that you can go there to browse just the comics, while subscribing to the Tumblr will also give you news updates.
Updates such as: SUBSCRIBE TO SLIPSHINE NOW for the first part of a You Suck side-story that just went up a few days ago!
The Patreon could always use some more backers as well. I plan to do as many You Sucks as I can during the month of August and a little financial backing will go a long way. Process pages of the Slipshine comic recently were posted, as well as a 3x-sized version of today’s comic!
Anyway, hello again, please enjoy some more of this gradually-updating chapter!

Tumblr, we need your help.
This evening as we were arriving at our hotel on the North Carolina coast, we heard a cry in the parking lot. We thought it might be a cat, so we called for it. The cry persisted. Out of the darkness ran a little orange kitten.
The kitten was desperate. He cried and cried, until we picked him up, put him in our car, and drove around looking for a place to buy cat food after midnight. We found some at a gas station, along with cat litter, and then we smuggled him up into our hotel room. We have since bathed him several times to combat the flea infestation from which he was suffering.
Throughout these multiple baths, he has not stopped purring once. He follows us everywhere. He wants to be cradled and cuddled constantly, he is especially fond of toes and kisses.
On top of everything, it seems as though his whiskers have been cut. We don’t know everything this little guy has been through, but he’s clearly had a hard life so far and he deserves so much better. As you all know if you’ve been following me, we already have multiple cats and probably shouldn’t add another to our household. However, surely someone out there can give this guy a home.
We found him in Morehead City, NC. Is there anyone who is interested in this little guy and can meet us to give him a good home? Please send me or Ash a message if you’re interested.
Please reblog even if you can’t offer him a home. Maybe someone you know can!

Slipshine doesn’t need a comic from me this...
Slipshine doesn’t need a comic from me this month, and it’s a good time to go back to drawing free comix for a while. Next comic will be up August 2, and as long as you’re subscribed to this Tumblr you’ll see it just fine.
Part 1 of the fourth You Suck IAP comic is up on Slipshine now! You can read it now! Subscribing supports me and other really good erotic artists! The first three IAP comics are there too, if you haven’t seen them yet… as well as the first Polly the Hunter comic which went up in June.
The book will be out later this month. The copies are currently at the printer, and I’ll be writing and arranging a shipping date right after I submit this post, actually. The photos I have seen of it look good! It’ll definitely be my best webcomic collection so far. It’ll be up on the store on the 17th or thereabouts.
Right then… next update will be a comic. See ya then!
